luztoye end of the world au
(snippet under the cut)
The truck rattles along the empty road like an ant marching along a cracked sidewalk, meandering its way with quiet purpose down an endless path. Joe has the windows rolled down, and the midsummer heat of Georgia buffets them with heavy air. It feels better than trying to drive anywhere with the windows up and wasting even a few ounces of gas on something so trivial as the AC had long since become a thing of the past.
Music plays loud enough to let him lapse into silent thought as he drives. The double standard of the air conditioning lies with the radio. The radio and its attached cassette player neatly tucked under the half-cracked display is always on when George is riding. No amount of scolding and dirty looks ever prevented the inevitably of it getting turned on, and only George had the patience to coax the busted volume knob into working. Right now, Joe is subject to a second playthrough of a well-worn Billy Joel album and a private performance by George in the passenger seat. If he had known the world was going to end when it did, he would have made sure to have had a better selection shoved in his glove box.
Green trees flash by outside the window, and the grass that had turned into a jungle on the roadside almost falls over onto the faded asphalt. The summer peace is only interrupted by George leaning towards him across the bench seat and crooning the chorus with a surprisingly accurate imitation. Heâs had more than enough time over the years to really nail it down and never was one to miss a chance to practice. Joe does his best not to smile, but the corner of his mouth must twitch because George dissolves into miming a saxophone with the determination of a man who knows how to crack his audience. Joe shakes his head and lets his fingers drum on the warm paint of the truck door from where his hand hangs out the window. They have another twenty minutes at least before theyâll be back, sparing any stops. As long as they get there before George can rummage through the glove box again, it'll be fine.
Heâs pulled out of his thoughts again by a tapping sound on the window behind his head. He glances back, catching sight of Bill with his hand still up to the window to get his attention.
âOpen the window for them wouldâya?â he shoves at George from where he had halfway squirmed out of his side of the front seat to crowd into Joe. He had only stopped his invasion to avoid having to sit on the busted leather of the middle seat. George cuts off his performance with only mild complaint, reaching to turn the radio down first. The volume knob, predictably, takes some fussing before the sounds of the music finally quiet. He turns to tug the sliding window open, grinning at Bill when he leans forward to yell into the cab.
âAre you trying to break my back here, Joe? Jesus why do I always end up in the bed, one more pothole and youâre gonna get me laid up. How much further we got?â Billâs scowl grows deeper when they take a curve in the road a little too fast. He grabs the edge of the window to keep from sliding around in the back of the truck.
âAw wouldnât want to hurt princessesâ butt back there with no padded seat. We're almost there, maybe fifteen minutes if you stop asking,â Joe eyes him in the crooked rearview mirror. Bill rolls his eyes and swats at Georgeâs head when he laughs.
âOh I donât wanna hear nothing about princesses when you got your certified passenger princess up here hogging the front,â Bill says, and George manages to duck away from the second pass at cuffing his ear. Heâs forced to retreat in full to his respective side of the truck, crossing his arms over his chest and leaning into the door.
âIâm in charge of the radio and the map, donât be mad Iâm useful,â George half sing-songs. If Joe wasnât so bitterly fond of the stupid face he was making, he would have joined Bill in his attempts to smack him. The road curves back into a straightaway, and he urges the truck along. For the sake of not rousting Bill anymore, he avoids the larger potholes that pocket the sides.
âBullshit you are,â Bill says, leaning further in the back window, but still not getting close enough to George to grab him.
âNo, Bullshit is in the back with you, Iâm up here,â George snarks, feeling relatively safe from his current position. Malarkeyâs head pops up from where heâd been slouched down in the back. He looks distinctly less disgruntled than Bill, but still sporting windswept hair from the journey. Both he and George had lingering pink on their noses and cheeks from being in the sun all day. Joe knows that means George will be looking to go take a nap as soon as they get back. Hopefully, that comes after they get the truck unloaded.
âFor the love of it, just get us there in one piece, Joe. I ainât dying three years after the last real traffic jam because we end falling into a crater on this road here,â Bill says, abandoning George so Malarkey could lean in to hear what they were saying. Theyâre close enough to town now that the gripping dies down and the music goes back up. He leaves the window open, slowing enough that the buffeting of wind out of the cab isnât quite as annoying. If he has to sit through more singing, Bill can too for all his bitching.
The rest of the drive is uneventful, and the green melts back into a pleasant background whizzing by. The outer fence of town comes into view first, old rusted barbed wire and an even shittier padlock and chain holding the gate closed. He throws the truck into park as they roll up to it and stop. The keyring with the padlock key lays on the dash, having only slid a little since heâd tossed it up there as they left this morning. Heâs not sure why he ever expects George to jump up and get it. When he does look over, heâs met with an overly innocent expression and no hint of any intention about grabbing the keys. Joe huffs but swipes the keys off the plastic of the dash without comment and slides out of the truck.
âNot even pretending that he doesnât got you whipped,â Bill yells from the truck. Joe flips him off without looking behind him. He can hear Malarkey laughing because apparently, all his friends are in on a collective conspiracy to make his life hell. Pulling the chain free, he jerks the gate wide enough to get the truck in before making the three-step journey back to the driverâs side.
âMy knight in shining armor, I didnât want to get my silk dress in the mud,â George says, batting his eyes in exaggerated motions once heâs back in and shifting the truck back into drive. If he had been prone to blushing, his life would be a whole lot worse. He gets by with a dismissive grunt and resolutely ignores the extra heckling from his traveling peanut gallery. He pulls through the gate and turns to jam his hand with the keys still in it out the back window, waving it between Bill and Malarkey.
âLike hell, Iâm getting out before weâre back,â Bill says, and any further argument is spared by Malarkey grabbing the keys and jumping over the side of the truck bed to go lock the gate. Joe scans down the fence line and ignores the bickering.
âSee Bill, chivalry is alive and well,â George lounges out a little further if at all possible, legs spread and back sliding down against the worn leather seat. In letting down his guard, Bill finally manages to poke him in the ear and George shoots Joe a withering look when he doesnât fall over himself to defend him.
Malarkey swings back over the tailgate of the truck, his boots landing in the small space between the crates of supplies, âAlright, weâre all good to get going.â He settles back down in his spot near the window next to Bill, and they start moving again. Thereâs a relatively short distance between the outer fence and the inner one that encamps the buildings in town in some amount of security, and Joe takes the distance slowly. He's in no rush to come careening up to the second gate. Singing and complaining or not, he enjoys getting away from this pocket of their world sometimes. Supply runs were a necessary evil in the eyes of people too scared to poke their heads outside, but to Joe, it teased some level of freedom he missed. George making it his god-given mission to follow along didn't hurt either.
Babe must have been on the watch patrol today because as soon as he hears the truckâs engine, he comes jogging toward the inner gate. Heâs got a hunting rifle slung over his shoulder, and as the truck rolls in he saves the argument of who is getting out again as he pulls the gate open for them. He gives a lazy mock salute, his free hand still curled around the rifle strap. Joeâs mistake is slowing to a near stop, which gives Bill time to vault over the side and land on his feet near Babe. No doubt to gossip about whatever it was they managed to talk about. George groans, head flopping back to give Joe a mournful look about having to unload supplies with three guys instead of four.

Tough Spot || The Queen of the Clan pt.2
CW: fem!chubby!reader, mentions of animal marking/spraying/urinating
When you took a break in trying to get your behaviorist degree and took off to partake in this documentary on a whim, you certainly were prepared that it won't meet the highest expectations - life isn't a movie, after all, so perhaps you weren't hoping to find the purpose of life magically after you somewhat lost the direction, or to make an earth-shattering discovery that would turn behaviorist world upside down and earn you a place among scientific hall of fame. A distraction from an all-consuming apathy that creeped up in your life, perhaps, some useful experience close to your field of interest. Some connections and friendships, if nothing else - these were your (pretty reasonable) expectations.
Definitely not having to share a tent with a man you barely knew, because a huge hyena sprayed its stink all over your things, making it impossible to stay near your posessions for a long period of time.
Sure, lucky you - most of your stuff inside the backpack was very salvageable, your clothes and food intact. But everything that got under a direct attack - your little tent, sleeping bag, your favourite thermos and a little sitting mat, all that was most definitely due for a deep clean with some heavy scent remover, and your crew was in for a filming trip for the next several days without returning to your main dislocation at a sanctuary just next to the nature reserve you were filming in. So no cleaning and washing for you in aproximately a week. In short - you would've been fucked, sleeping in a smelly tent and sleeping bag or completely unprotected in a roofless vehicle, if not for Kir.
As you stand there with an apologetic expression on your face, hands clenched guiltily, he just laughs all your muttered thanks and apologies off, flashing you the friendliest of smiles as he sets up his own tent. A true knight in shining armor (some cargo pants and a blank, tight-fitting T-shirt in his case), Kir doesn't even let you help, telling you that your chatting is more than help enough as he prepares your new sleeping arrangements. Out of everyone on the crew he was the first to offer you to share his tent, and the fact that he had a backup sleeping bag only nailed the decision in.
"Don't worry, it's not a bother at all. If I was a newbie and something like this happened to me, you'd help me out too, I'm sure," he makes it hard to argue and feel like you're being a burden. Already a veteran of these filmings, Kir disctracts you from your upset mood with similar stories - about some scientist guy walking straight into a buffalo shitpile, a bunch of monkeys ravaging crew's backpacks and pulling out some poor girl's vibrator to play hot potato with it, a jackal finding one of the timelapse night cameras and flooding it generously... "They're animals, they just have a sense of humor like that. No one blames you for that guy taking a liking to you."
Kir's bright smile and cheerful words reassure you. He's being a gentleman about everything else too - allows you to take the higher ground to sleep there since the spot where his - and your now too - tent stands has a bit of an angle to it, lets you choose which sleeping bag you want, stays outside as you change for sleep even though you were perfectly fine doing it in the sleeping bag itself. The only un-gentlemanly thing Kir does is stay up with you until deep into the loud wild night, telling you more stories, already from his job at the sanctuary. As you whisper to each other and try to muffle your giggles, you hear rustling outside, someone walking around on soft paws, stopping several times at your tent and even sniffing loudly - you left your backpack nearby, unwilling to put the stinky thing into the tent. But the smell seems to work for you this time, since whatever it was, it leaves soon after.
In the morning you barely get out, a bit tired after your late night talkshow with Kir, only to learn that there were two hyenas in the camp - a bunch of the crew are crowded around a patch where the parprints are especially visible, getting the footage just in case it'll make into the final cut. One of the scientists measures the prints and estimates the sizes of both hyenas: both could be up to 1,8 meters in length judging from how wide apart their footprints lay. In other words - fucking huge, even for spotted hyenas.
"You think your friend from yesterday came with a buddy to spread some more perfume?" You scrunch your nose at Kir's joke and rush to check on your backpack, but it doesn't seem to be chewed on or reek worse than yesterday. Great news, honestly, since you'll be driving with that thing tucked into the back of a Land Rover while you follow the path of the lion pride you should be filming.
The sun is alredy high up and pretty ruthless by the time you come across any significant wildlife - and it's not lions, but something equally good for the documentary: a big herd of zebras. Once again, you are mesmerized, majestic striped horses so close to you that it doesn't seem real. They are aware of your crew's presence, but stay chill, perhaps seeing people and their weird appliances not for the first time.
Following your instructions, you carefully tread the tall grass to move a bit further from the parked vehicles and take some shots of the herd; you choose your favourite zebra - a mother with a little baby waving it's puny tail and constantly shoving its adorable snout under mother's belly for milk - and zoom in on her, setting quite a neat shot. After you settle the videocamera, you take out your personal one to take some photos, but suddenly the zebras perk up, ears twitching and chewing coming to an end. You lower your camera at first, confused by their reactions - you didn't hear anything? - but then lift it up againt to search for the source of zebras' worries through zoom.
And source of worries you find.
Two hunched silouettes, out in the open, dark manes fluffed up and tails in a clearly aggresive stance - a couple of enormous, compared to the zebras, hyenas are creeping up to them, hind legs tucked up under their bulky bodies, ready to pounce... and then one of them, a smaller one with darker fur, darts forward.
A hunting hyena is an impressive view, their speed exceeding what one might expect just looking at their burly, asymmetrical builds - but exactly that legs length difference allows them to speed so fast that your camera struggles to capture them. But what's impressive onscreen, is fucking terrifying in real life.
Because a herd of zebras is panicking at the sight of a predator closing in on one of them, and in panic they start to run.
You're in their way.
The sound of dozens of hooves hitting dry, solid ground mixes with your own blood pumping in your ears. In an act of brain malfunction, you somehow find yourself more worried about the expensive camera (it's not even yours) being trampled than yourself, and try to pick it up with the tripod - seconds dragging on like molten resin boiling under the cruel noon sun. The ground is trembling under the scared animals, dust and dry grass up in the air.
A high-pitched sound breaks you out of stupor. Loud cackling with an undertone of alarm gets closer too, and as you stumble backwards, a big dark form zooms past you, rushing fearlessly towards the fear-crazed zebras. It's reckless even for a carnivoure they're afraid of: nothing can guarantee that the herd will stop or turn away as the hyena approaches them head-on, and you prepare yourself to witness a gruesome scene of a hunter falling by the hooves of hunted.
But it somehow works. Last moment, the zebras notice the hyena flying at them with a scary laugh and change the direction of their fleeing route, less lucky among them falling and getting pushed over, but hyenas - more of them now, four, it seems? - don't bother pouncing the fallen ones, putting all their efforts into... simply chasing their prey away?
Confused and still stunned into a frozen mode, you watch the little baby zebra buck its tiny legs at a hyena barking at it lazily and clamping its huge maw, capable of crushing huge bones, on thin air. Trotting for a few more meters, the predator stalls and then simply turns away, casting you a glance before slowly treading back to its buddy. The one whose disheveled mane and wide stance you recognize immediately.
Blinking, you finally find yourself able to collect your equipment, although with trembling hands - your shoulders are still tense in a protective manner, and you flinch, when Kir rushes to you to help with the heavy camera.
"Oh my god, are you okay? I thought I'd shit myself when I saw them running at us," he looks sickly, you're probably no better. You dump the tripod and the camera into his arms happily, clutching your own, and walk on stumbling legs back to the rover.
You're met with a pair of bit wet eyes when you finally get to the car.
Somehow a single hyena - where did its buddies go? - doesn't seem all that scary after you nearly avoided being stomped by a hundred zebras, so you take a few more steps before finally remembering to be cautious. Kir is just a few meters away, loading the camera into the car, so it means he walked past the hyena unharmed, right?
You don't get to ask that question or shoo the animal away: just like yesterday, it appears up next to you in a gracious pounce, nuzzling your hip again. The noise that leaves its throat is absolutely horrid, an annoying screeching, sightly hoarse and just as high-pitched as its laugh. Wagging its tail, the hyena circles you several time, bumping into your legs - each time you don't respond or move, the screech gets only louder, until you give up.
"Stop it! Hush! S-stop yelling, shut up!" Bold of you to try and order a wild animal around. Maybe that's exactly why it works - the noise cuts off abruptly, the hyena taking a step back to plop its chonky ass on the ground. It looks at you just like a tamed dog would - mouth slightly agape in a toothy smile, head tilted and ears fluttering, as if it's eager to hear what else you have to say.
You're not made of steel to stay indifferent an wary at this sight.
"Huh. So you do listen sometimes. I guess you just hated my backpack that much," you still grumble at the hyena, and it flattens its round ears with guilt, slowly dipping down to the ground. Aren't they supposed to be like cats? But this one looks at you with the definition of puppy eyes. "You could've done worse... and I guess you saved me today. Thank you, Stinky."
The hyena lights up and sits back up with its chest puffed out as it hears you acknowledge the way it steered the scared herd away from you and your crew, but all its pride fizzles out as soon as you give it a name. You get a disapproving look and a loud giggle, clearly mocking your sense of humor in naming the hyena.
"Don't look at me like that, I can't sleep in my own sleeping bag now because of you. Have to share a tent with Kir," you nod at the young man sitting in the driver's sit with an amused expression, and the hyena turns to look at him too. Judging by the way Kir's smile fades, the look he recieved from the animal wasn't a kind one.
"Come on, we have to get a move on, still about fifty kilometers to cover today," he mutters, and you try to move past Stinky (oh yes, you're keeping the name) to the car, but it suddenly jumps to its feet and barrels at you again, rubbing at your legs and nuzzling your thighs. It even shoves its snout into your crotch, tail flailng up high, but the loud sound of an engine starting right behind it finally scares the weird animal away. It trots to the side, stops to look at you again, as if checking if you're still stumbling after being scared half to death by the herd, then resumes its leisurely pace, waving its tail.
You huff, getting into your seat, and dust your pants of some coarse fur the rascal left.
"Weird fucking guy," you mutter about the hyena more to yourself than yo Kir, who already jokes about you being a hyena whisperer. "And stinky, too."
You'll just have to hope his buddies won't try to follow into his pawsteps.

#serene adds â... ahem the literal bible of warnings...anyway! guys I lowkey really like this one, it's my first ever vampire fic, which is crazy because I'm a diehard vampire fan (name any show/movie/book and I will know of it) so I'm surprised that I've managed to go this long without writing one. I really didn't intend for it to get this long and um like 1/3 is just smut... happy reading ! :3
The radio of your old car made a bruising noise before giving up completely, your last bit of civilization diminishing to nothing. Sighing you glance toward your GPS, but even that seemed futile. âI guess itâs just you and me now, Lolaâ, you state as you peer at your dog in the rear view mirror.Â
Ahead, the narrow road made for a bumpy ride as you dwelled deeper into the forest. Surrounding you were pine trees, standing tall and proud, looming over you in an almost menacing way, as if to say; you are not welcome here. With both your phone and radio cut off, you were beginning to think that maybe there lay something in the unspoken words of the trees. This was no place for humans, yet you recognized the way the road turned, if ever so slightly, not to mention the familiar large stone that you had climbed so many times before.Â
Soon the small cottage comes into view, and it was just as you had remembered it, save for the overgrown lawn that reaches its way through the old wooden planks of the porch. Your vehicle comes to a stop and as you step outside, the earthy smell of the forest greets you. Lola, on the other hand, sems skeptical; she fuzzes for a moment before finally getting out as you opened the trunk for her. âOh donât be so quick to judge it, you havenât even seen the inside yetâ, you give your dog a few pats before retrieving your large bag from the car.Â
The old wooden steps creak under your weight as you make your way toward the front door. Rust had formed around the lock and it took more than a few tries to get the darned thing opened. With the push of your shoulder, the old door finally budges and you step inside. Nostalgia immediately fills your senses, it smells stuffy and old yet exactly like your childhood. The many summers you had spent cooped up in the small house, plenty of your drawings remaining on the wallpapered walls.Â
It had been years since the passing of your parents, years since the house became yours, and years since anyone had even bothered to acknowledge its existence. In a way, you supposed you felt bad for the place, yet you hadnât been able to come here without the painful memories of your parents flooding your mind. Not up until recently had you felt ready, ready to return here and remember the good things, the good memories. You wanted this house to remain a happy place for you.Â
âWell it could definitely use a sweep, whatâd you say, Lola?â The dog lets out a gruff of agreement as she noses at the dust covered sofa with a displeased look. Most of the place had been drowned in layers upon layers of dust and spiderwebs, you were certain that all kinds of animals lingered around the old building, seeking shelter from the harsh conditions the outside world provided.Â
You spend the rest of the day cleaning, going through old photographs and personal belongings of both you and your parents. The downs of being an only child you supposed, not having anyone to share your grief with. It wouldâve been nice to not be completely alone in the mess that your parents left, from arranging their funeral to selling their house back in the city. The project that was this cabin had all become too much, and thus you had put it off, admittedly for longer than you had originally intended. Though now that you were finally getting around to it, it was with a light heart rather than a heavy.Â
By nightfall you had finished off practically all of the first floor. Flopping down on the now very much clean couch, you let out a tired sigh. Lola was sleeping peacefully on the carpet nearby and you leaned to give her a few pats before reaching for your phone. The device had been in and out of signal throughout the day, you figured you could try your luck with a call.Â
Bringing it up to your ear, your phone rings, once, twice, three times before thereâs a shift in the audio. âHello?â The voice of your friend calls out on the other line and a small sigh of relief escapes your lips. âJjunie? Hii, itâs me! Can you hear me?â You ask as thereâs a small disturbance in the quality of the call.Â
âDimples?â he asks and you giggle, âwho else?â Yeonjun lets out a huff of air and you hear the rustling of his mattress as he sits up, âIâve been texting you like crazy, where have you been all day?â he questions, a tone of fake hurt lingering in his words. âI knowâ, you mumble as you pick at your cuticle, âIâve barely had any service all day, itâs a miracle that this call even went through.âÂ
âI guess youâre really living that outdoor mindfulness life now huh?â he teases and you couldâve sworn that you heard the shit eating grin on his face. âHa-haâ, you muse, âcareful or Iâll make you spend the next week here with me. You could use a detox from that phone of yours.â Your friend snorts, âas if. My followers need me.â You roll your eyes, âyou sure itâs not the other way around?â you ask to which Yeonjun responds with a row of profanities.Â
Aside from a few break ups here and there the call runs smoothly and youâre relieved to be having a conversation with another human being for the first time today. After about twenty minutes of catching up, the subject suddenly shifts as Yeonjunâs voice grows wary. âYouâve heard about the stuff thatâs been happening right?âÂ
You frown, "No? What stuff?â On the other side of the line, Yeonjun hesitates. âWell câmon and tell meâ, you press as you sit up a little straighter. Drawing in a long sigh, he then exhales, âwell thereâs been, bodiesâŠâ âBodies?â you repeat, âyou mean likeâŠ?â â âDead bodies, yeah.âÂ
A small silence lingers in the air as you process the words of your friend. âHikersâ, he then adds and you gnaw on your bottom lip. âWell thereâs plenty of good hiking trails aroundâ, you mumble. It wasnât unusual for people to try their luck up in this forest, during your summers spent here you had seen plenty of tents indicating someoneâs stay. âSome are quite dangerous though and-â â- âThatâs not why they died.â Yeonjun interrupts with a solemn voice and you feel your throat go dry.Â
âRightâŠâ you murmur as your gaze flickers toward Lola, âthen how did they die?â Once more, your friend on the other line hesitates. âPlease, Jjunie, I need to know, and I donât exactly have any other way of finding out, other than going out there myself.â Outside of your window, the forest seemed darker than it had all those years ago; something bad had happened here.Â
âThey think it was an animal of some kindâŠâ Yeonjun whispers and suddenly you feel a slight glimmer of hope. âJjunie, trust me Iâve encountered plenty of-â â âThis oneâs different, Dimples.â Your friend interrupts you again, though his voice is now uncertain, âthis thing, itâs smarter, itâŠit lures its way inside.âÂ
You swallow, âwhat do you mean?â Though you werenât certain that you wanted to know. âItâŠthe bodies, they never left their tents. It came to them.â The silence that follows is palpable and a shiver runs down your spine, despite the fact that you were covered head to toe in blankets.Â
That night, you barely got any sleep. Your mind kept shifting back toward your conversation with Yeonjun as your gaze flickered to the window. You got up to close the curtains, but it did little to help the uncanny feeling seeping through your veins. Lola seemed to notice it too, she barely made a move to go outside, if only to use the bathroom. As three days passed, your phone refused to work and you became increasingly paranoid.Â
By your fourth night at the cabin a heavy storm rolled around. This would also mark your fourth night without any signal whatsoever, the events of the outside world remaining unknown to you. The thunder roared outside, and if it wasnât for Lolaâs sensitive hearing, you probably would have missed the light knock to your front door.Â
The persistent barking of your dog turns your attention toward said door, âwhat is it, Lola?â you ask to which your dog lets out a small whine. Thereâs a brief pause and for a moment everything is quiet, even the merciless storm outside seemed to hold its breath. Another knock against the old wood sends your heartbeat into a small spiral. You knew better than to open the door for just any stranger, besides, what business did another human being have in the middle of this forest? Unless⊠They were a hiker.Â
Soon a raspy voice echoes out from the other side of the door. âP-pleaseâŠplease help me...â Your eyes widened, were they hurt, had something happened, and why were they alone? âAre you hurt?â you question as you get up and slowly inch toward the door, Lola trails behind you worriedly.Â
It takes a moment before the voice replies, ragged breaths and soft grunts are all that can be heard. â...yes.â Their answer makes you hesitate, there was something uncanny about the voice, it felt almost strained. Upon noticing your evident doubt the voice pleads to you once more. âPlease, please let me in. It hurtsâŠâ The voice morphs from a quiet plea into one of sheer desperation.Â
âWho hurt you?â you ask, still wary as you keep one hand on the doorknob. Behind you, Lola whines in protest as she pulls her tail between her legs. The person on the other side of the door draws in a sharp breath, âIâŠI donât know, itâŠI couldnât see it clearly but itâll come back Iâm certain.. Please, please let me in!â it begs.Â
Suddenly, you recall your last conversation with Yeonjun, about the animal preying on hikers. Could this be another of its victims? Whoever was on the other side of the door were in dire need of your help. With one final deep breath you unlock it and turn the handle.Â
On your doorstep, you find a young man, slightly hunched over as he maintains a tight grip on his left arm. His breathing is labored and his clothes torn. It is not until he glances up at you, a hesitant yet hopeful look on his face that you finally see him. He was beautiful. Big dark eyes stare up at your own, his skin was smooth and perfect, yet sickly pale, you supposed it had to do with being out in this weather.Â
âOh my goodnessâŠâ you quietly mumble as you take in the state of the man. âCome in.âÂ
Upon urging him inside and shutting the door tightly behind you, you guide him to sit on one of the chairs by the dining table. The man thanks you over and over for your kindness as you rush to get him a warm blanket. âWhatâs your name?â you wonder as you place the quilt over his shoulders. He silently thanks you before replying, âTaehyun.âÂ
Just when youâre about to tell him your own, Lola emits a loud bark as she growls toward the man. Taehyun gives her a questioning glance but doesnât seem to pay her any further attention. âLola! Quit that!â you scold, embarrassed over your dog's odd behavior. âShe isnât usually like this, I donât know whatâs gotten into herâŠâ you apologize as you swat the dog away with your hand.Â
Taehyun gives you a small smile, âitâs alright, Iâm certainly not the most pleasant thing to gaze upon at this given moment.â You thought his statement to be debatable as your eyes trail across his well built frame; stopping as they reach the large gash on his left arm. âOh my, yourâŠyour armâ, you exclaim as you watch the way blood trickles from the fresh wound. Following your horrified gaze, Taehyun winces as he flexes his arm slightly.Â
âStay here, Iâll get you something for the pain!â You say as you scurry out of the kitchen and to your bedroom where you kept most of your essential supplies. Thankfully you had thought to bring along a medical kit, in case of an emergency like this. Though you were rather unsure if your meek bandage and lacking surgical skills would do much good to the large gash on his arm. Before exiting, you make sure to shut Lola in, not wanting her to cause yet another scene, she whines in protest as you do but you pay it little mind.Â
Hastily, you return to the kitchen, and as you set the medkit down you begin rummaging through it. âI should have some kind of disinfectant here..â you mumble without lifting your gaze. It wasnât until you went to check on the severity of his injuries once more that you froze in your tracks. The once large wound on his arm wasâŠgone. You frown, âwhatâŠbut I couldâve swornâŠâÂ
The quiet chuckle emitting from the man before you makes your blood run cold as you lift your gaze to meet his. Taehyunâs once pleading eyes were now peering at you in an almost predatorial way as he studied your perplexed expression. âBut IâŠâ your words fall short as Taehyun suddenly rises from the chair, without taking his gaze off of you, he reaches a hand up to his neck, it makes a cracking sound as he tilts his head to the side, a small sigh escaping his lips.Â
âYou humans are far too kind.â His voice is low and as he takes a step forward, you immediately falter backward. The back of your legs hit the table behind you and you wince as you fumble to move around it. âInviting just anyone into your home like that.â Taehyunâs eyes never leave you as a smirk etches its way to his lips. âMy, your gullibleness is quite endearing.âÂ
You cast a quick glance around the old kitchen, your gaze falling on one of the larger knives. All you had to do was move one step to the right, reach out and⊠Taehyunâs eyes follow your own and he cocks an eyebrow. âI admire your plan of strategy, but a mere humanâs tool will bring little harm to my kind.âÂ
His kind? Just what exactly was this man. You swallow a gulp as your gaze flickers between him and the knife, your heartbeat working overtime as you grasp for a decision. Despite his words you end up reaching for the knife, grabbing it tightly with both hands, you aim it toward the intruding man. âWhat do you want from me?â you grit out as you steady your feet against the wooden floor.Â
Taehyun inhales slowly, letting his eyes flutter closed for a brief moment; as if savoring a pleasant scent. When he opens them again theyâre a swirling pool of crimson. âNow youâre asking the right questionsâ, his voice lingers with desire as he slowly makes his way around the dining table.Â
Like a deer in headlights you immediately dart in the opposite direction. Tumbling out of your kitchen and into the open spaced living room. Behind you, Taehyun laughs, an almost sinister laugh. Frantically you search for anything to shield yourself with. Settling on one of the armchairs in the corner, you quickly dip behind it. With your knees to your chest and back pressed against the soft cushion; you cover your mouth with your free hand, the other maintaining a tight grip on the knife.Â
The wooden floor creaks beneath him as Taehyun slowly emerges from the kitchen. âYour determination to live is surely fascinatingâ he muses, the sound of his voice only becoming louder as he slowly approaches your corner. âFoolish human, you forget that I can hear the delectable sound of your heart beating from miles away.âÂ
Biting down on your hand, you will the tears away as you screw your eyes shut. âThe humanâs weak body gives them away before they even become aware of the dangers surrounding them.â The sounds of his footsteps come to a stop and you hold your breath, you donât dare open your eyes, prolonging the moment for as long as possible.Â
It is not until you feel his cold breath on your face that they snap open. The smirk plastered on his beautiful face as he watches you with much intrigue is enough for you to finally act. Your arm works faster than your brain as you swing the knife toward him. Taehyun lets out a faint hiss as he pulls back, thick red liquid seeps from the small cut on his cheek and his expression soon turns from smug into a scowl.Â
Seizing your opportunity, you scramble to your feet as you dart for your bedroom. Though you barely make it 10ft before something hard crashes into you from behind. With inhumane speed Taehyun slams you up against the nearest wall. A cold hand wraps around your neck as he lifts you without much trouble.Â
Your feet kick at the wall behind you as your body trashes against his grip. With his free hand, Taehyun wipes the blood from his cheek, the wound closing up before your eyes. In your haste you realize that youâve lost your knife, your only hope. Letting out a huff of air, Taehyunâs gaze locks onto yours, âthe others did not struggle this muchâ, he mutters.Â
The others? As realization slowly seeps in, your eyes widen â it wasnât an animal that had killed all those hikers. It was him. His tight grip on your neck restricts your intake of air and you barely manage to gasp out the word, ây-you..â Taehyun tilts his head to the side, a glimmer of curiosity flashing before his eyes. The grip on your neck falters, if only for a moment, as he lets you regain your breath in order to continue.Â
âIt was you. You killed all those peopleâ, you splutter as your chest rises and falls in a heavy manner. He smirks, and from this close youâre able to make out the sharp fangs that prod against his bottom lip. âI see I have earned myself quite a reputation amongst your kindâ, he comments before leaning in closer, eyes glinting with intrigue, âpray tell, what else have you heard of me?âÂ
You part your lips to reply before you stop yourself. As Yeonjunâs words ring in your ears you suddenly realize your mistake. âIt lures its way inside. They never left their tents. It came to them.â He had come to you, he had knocked on your door and you had let him in. You hadnât even left your house and the next time you would it would be in a body bag.Â
Everything aligned, the pale skin, his inhumane strength and speed, his ability to heal, the crimson eyes, his fangs. He was a vampire and you had willingly invited him inside your house, ultimately signing your own death.Â
âI let you inâŠâ you whisper, disbelief evident across your face. âAh, you are finally connecting the dotsâ, he mumbles, âI must admit you differ from the rest.â Cold fingers trace the outline of your face before trailing down your collarbone. His touch causes shivers to ripple through your body and Taehyunâs smirk grows. âHad I not been so insatiably hungry right now, I might have kept you around for a bit.âÂ
His gaze shifts from your mortified expression down to your neck. Contradicting to his previous tight hold on you, he now gently brushes along the exposed veins. âThis forest has been vacant for weeks, I thought my last meal here had long since passed.â He brings a strand of your hair to his nose, inhaling the scent.Â
âBut then came you. And you smell absolutely divine.â His voice is low as his eyes flicker back to yours once more. Horrified, you shake your head as you push against his chest, your meek attempts at breaking free drew a breathy laugh from him.Â
âLet us not struggle now.â The once feathery touch along your neck is replaced by a harsh and cold hand against your chin as he holds your face in place. And as your eyes come level with his own, you suddenly find it hard to look away. Dark pools of crimson pull you in, entrancing you as Taehyun mutters something under his breath. You know that it is wrong, but the longer you stare into his eyes the more you feel like giving yourself to him. Despite every instinct in you screaming for you to shut your eyes and pull back, you instead find yourself going limp in his grasp.Â
âMuch betterâ, he whispers as he loosens his hold on your chin. Your feet softly hit the ground again and you glance up at him. Somewhere in the back of your head, the urge to run still exists. But you donât move, you stay unblinking as you gaze at him with a clouded expression. âYou humans are almost beautiful when you donât fretâ, he mumbles as his cold fingers brush your hair back to expose your neck fully.Â
His tongue drags across one of his fangs as he eyes the skin of your neck with anticipation. âDonât worry, your sacrifice will not go to wasteâ, he assures as he leans in to press his cold lips against your warm skin. The feeling of his sharp fangs piercing the flesh of your neck causes your body to feel as if it were on fire. Yet all but a soft gasp is what leaves your lips at the intrusion.Â
Everything hurt and you wanted nothing more than to push him off, pry his teeth from your weakening body. But your limbs felt strangely heavy, unable to move, your vision threatens to give out as your knees wobble. What was going on, why werenât you doing anything? Taehyun groans against your skin, his hands harshly tugging at your hips to keep you in place.
Soon the burning sensation faded before it morphed into something dangerously similar to pleasure. Your body felt tingly, sensitive, every gulp of blood he took sent minor shock waves surging through you and you let out a small sigh at the feeling. To think that this was how you were to die, as nothing more but the next meal of a hungry creature, and in your last moments you found pleasure in it? The thought alone was enough to have your eyes drooping shut. Â
Realization slowly creeps its way into your foggy mind â you were actually going to die. No one was coming to save you, you were all alone and this was how your last moments would play out? It was hard to feel any emotion, your mind far too clouded to even keep your eyes open, but if you could feel something, you supposed it would be despair.Â
Teetering on the edge of unconsciousness, you accept your lowly fate. Just as the darkness is about to consume you, everything suddenly stops. Was death really nothing? Was there no heaven, no hell? Just darkness? It takes you a moment to realize that you are in fact not dead, and that Taehyun has pulled himself away from your neck. Â
Slowly, your eyes regain focus as you look at him, confused. You were certain that he was going to kill you, did he really intend to prolong your inevitable death, to make you suffer further? You thought him to be cruel but this was far worse than you had imagined.Â
His eyes remain a dark crimson as they fixate on you, but they had lost their sharp edge, he no longer looked as if he was eyeing his next meal, but rather his gaze held something akin to desire. Taehyunâs tongue swipes across his lips, coated in your rich blood as he savors the remnants of it. His breath is shallow, though you wondered if vampires ever really became out of breath.Â
âYou tasteâŠâ he trails off, eyes fixating on the puncturers heâd previously caused on your neck, â...unlike any human Iâve ever had before.â He almost looked to be at a loss for words as he stared at you, you werenât sure if it was a good or a bad thing, and you couldnât find yourself to care. Your body felt weak, numb and not like your own anymore. Perhaps death had been the easy way out from your current situation.Â
As his cold fingers brush along your exposed collarbone, your gaze flickers back up to his once more. The movements of your own limbs still felt restricted by the unknown force caused by Taehyun, and even if they werenât, you were sure that your body wouldnât be able to maintain an upright position, much less run away from the creature before you.Â
âI wonder if the rest of you taste just as divineâ, he murmurs. His peering gaze suddenly shifts toward your lips and before you have time to question his intentions further, he crashes his lips against your own.Â
At first you remain unmoving, unblinking, Taehyun pays your unenthusiastic response little mind as he kisses you hungrily. The faint metallic taste of your own blood lingers on his tongue as he pushes it inside your mouth and your nose turns up in slight disgust. Suddenly your body jolts to life once more, as if the spell in which he had put you under was lifted the moment his lips pressed against your own.Â
With newfound strength you push against his cold and hard chest in a desperate attempt to break free. Your fighting hands are met by his own as Taehyun pins them to your sides before taking the liberty to explore all of your body. Cold hands wandering beneath your loose t-shirt, earning him a small whimper from you.Â
You canât help the moan that escapes from your lips as his fingers rub over your perked nipples, squeezing the soft flesh of your breasts. His touch felt oddly enticing and your body suddenly craved more, a lot more. But as his lips found your neck, the memories of what had previously taken place, flashes before your eyes and suddenly it feels as if those sharp fangs pierced your skin all over again. You become dangerously aware of what is about to happen as one of Taehyunâs hands tug at the hem of your shorts and you immediately try to twist your body away from his invasive touch.Â
âNo! Wait- stop!â you shriek as your hands work to pry him off of you. Thereâs a brief pause as Taehyun once again pulls his lips from your neck. He doesnât say anything as he looks at you, an impassive expression pending across his face. You swallow, âthis- I, whatâs happening? This isnâtâŠâ The words fall from your lips in a hasty manner as you struggle to form coherent thoughts, afraid that he would grow impatient at your antics and just kill you off. Finally you settle on, âI donât understand.âÂ
Taehyun looks at you as he cocks an eyebrow, an insatiable hunger swirling behind his eyes. âYou do not understand the act of indulging in one's sexual desires?â He wonders as he studies you with a mix of apprehension and disbelief. Your mouth falls open as you blink, â...I, of course I do butâŠâÂ
âThen you must understand that a vampireâs hunger exceeds beyond just his thirst for bloodâ, he murmurs as his gaze returns to your lips. âYou are a very pretty human.â He breathes, cold fingers trail along your chest, pushing your shirt up to reveal your soft stomach. His eyes twinkle in anticipation, âthere are other ways for you to satiate me.âÂ
With that statement, he reconnects your lips in a kiss filled with yearning. You donât have any time to react before you feel your feet lift from the ground. The surge that forms in your stomach at his rapid movements remind you of that when a roller coaster drops. Your back hits the soft cushion of the sofa as Taehyun swiftly takes place above you, his arms caging you in. Â
With one harsh tug, he pulls your shirt up to reveal your breasts. The cool air causes goosebumps to bloom on your skin, Taehyun trails his fingers over the small bumps as his lips attach around one of your nipples. Sharp fangs graze over your sensitive skin and you shiver in a fear mixed arousal. âI can hear your blood rushingâ, he groans against your breast before moving on to the next one, leaving red marks that would soon blossom into purple. Tongue swirling over the sensitive bud, he elicits a small moan from you.Â
In a tantalizing slow manner he moves down your stomach, inhaling your scent before stopping above the hem of your shorts. He looks up at you, with that same expression that had terrified you not long ago, he looked ready to eat you whole. âAre you scared, human?â he asks, fingers dipping inside the waistband of your pajama shorts. Your gaze flickers between his hand and his eyes, you swallow, âno.âÂ
Taehyun smirks, âliar.â Without warning he pulls both your panties and shorts down, a small shriek leaving your lips at the action as your thighs instinctively squeeze together. âThere is little point in denying meâ, he grunts as his hand easily finds its way between your sealed legs. Upon reaching your already wet cunt, Taehyunâs smirk grows, âand in denying yourself.â You bite your lip, unable to hide the fact that his lips on your own had spurred you on further than youâd liked to.Â
âMy, are you prettyâ, he mumbles as his crimson eyes fixate on the way his fingers glide against your folds. His subtle comment has blood rushing to your face and had it not been for the way your core ached to be touched, you wouldâve probably even been embarrassed at the remark. Squirming beneath him, your hips buck in an attempt to seek any kind of relief. Taehyunâs gaze snaps to your face, âyou humans are far too greedyâ, he snarls, ânever satisfied with what they have, you always want more.âÂ
Your back arches off the cushion as he pushes two fingers inside of you. âIs that what you want?â He curls his fingers, brushing them against that small bundle of nerves that never failed to make you go cross eyed whenever you pleasured yourself. âTo be ruined to bits by a vampire, reduced to nothing at my mercy?â
You meekly nod, struggling to keep your eyes open at the intense waves of pleasure that overflow your senses. Taehyun huffs, âI knew that your kind was pathetic, but this sure takes the price.â His words barely register, youâre too lost in the way his fingers move inside of you, thumb pressing up against your clit in a menacing way.Â
When he suddenly pulls his hand away, you cry out in displeasure as your eyes shoot open in search of his. You find him already looking at you intently, his gaze unwavering as he watches the steady rise and fall of your chest, the way blood rushes beneath your skin, listening to the supple beating of your heart.Â
His hand glides across the soft flesh of your thighs, âI need to taste you againâ, he says, his voice strained and hoarse as his stare drops to your glistening folds. Before you have the time to register his words, his head is between your legs and you let out a small yelp at the feel of his cold breath hovering over your sensitive cunt.Â
The idea of him, his mouth, his fangs, so close to such a sensitive part of you was terrifying in itself, yet you couldnât find it in you to push him away. A low groan rumbles from deep within his chest as Taehyun drags his tongue along your slit, leaving you gasping as your nails dig into the cushion of the sofa.Â
He pulls back for a moment, his eyes never leaving your core as he licks his lips, as if he focused entirely on the taste of you. Then, without warning he dives back in and your thigh twitches as his lips latch onto your clit. Hungrily, he sucks and laps at your cunt and you wondered how this man had been close to killing you just moments prior.Â
Pathetic whines leave your lips as his tongue pushes inside of you, the tip of his nose rubbing against your clit. The harsh grip of his hands holds your thighs down as they threaten to close around his head. Moans and pleas fall from your lips but he pays them little mind, too focused on the way you taste, the way your body reacts to his touch.Â
Your stomach draws into knots as you feel your orgasm approaching. Taehyun lets out a sound of contentment as he feels you clench around his tongue. âF-fuckâŠIâm..â your words are swallowed by the whine that leaves you as he pulls his head from between your legs, robbing you of the high that was just within your reach.Â
âAgain, you humans are consumed by your greedâ, he tskâs as he watches the way you squirm, pathetically chasing after your desired orgasm. He leans back on his knees as one of his hands frees his cock from his pants. âPatienceâ, he grunts as his pale hand glides along his shaft, âcomes naturally when living for centuries. You humans only live to see a fragment of what I experience, yet you greedily take and take.âÂ
You swallow as your eyes shift from his intense gaze toward the hand wrapped around his cock. Like the rest of him, it was beautiful, flushed at the tip and slick with precum that spilled from the slit. Your cunt throbbed at the sight and you bit your lip in anticipation. Above you, Taehyunâs expression turns into a sneer, âdo not think that I am here to fulfill your bottomless greed, human.â A small gasp leaves your lips as you feel the head of his cock pushing against your folds.Â
With one harsh thrust, he buries himself deep inside of you, drawing a small shriek from you at the burning intrusion. Taehyun lets out a groan of satisfaction as his lips return to suck at the mark on your neck, the still fresh wound causing a throbbing pain to flare through your body, mixing with the feel of his cock deep inside of you.Â
He moves slowly, taking his time to feel the way your body wrapped around him. The warmth of something so full of life entangled with the very epitome of death. The rapid beating of your heart against his unmoving one filling his senses. Your mind feels hazy and that familiar feeling of pleasure you had felt when he drained you of blood returned. With each slow thrust you felt him graze along every inch of you, the tip of his cock caressing the bundle of nerves that had you clenching around him. You had never felt so full before.Â
His lips reconnect with yours, the taste of blood completely gone and now replaced by the remnants of your own fluids. And while it was certainly not something you had let previous partners do, it somehow felt right with him. Your hands loosen their grip on the cushion as they move across his body; the body you had longed to touch since he first appeared on your doorstep.Â
Taehyun inhales against your lips as your warm fingers wander beneath his shirt and over his cold chest. Perhaps he was right, perhaps you were greedy, even on the brink of death you had let your desires consume you. But did it really matter? Your life was bound to end anyway. Once more, just once, you would let yourself be greedy.Â
His hands glide across your body, squeezing and groping at every part of flesh he could access, relishing in how alive you felt, how your blood pulsated under his hands. Your legs move on their own, wrapping around his waist as you drew him in closer, making him groan into your mouth.Â
He breaks the kiss to look at you, watching your eyes roll back in pleasure as your lips part in a silent moan. Cold fingers dig into your cheeks as he keeps your head in place. âFoolish humanâ, he grunts, âI could kill you right now.â His thumb pulls your bottom lip down, âeither you are too dumb to even comprehend the danger of your situation, or youâre just too fucking desperate to care.âÂ
Without warning he pushes his thumb inside your mouth, you respond eagerly by swirling your tongue around it. âConsidering the way your pussy so desperately sucks me in, I would assume the latterâ, he sneers before pulling his thumb from your mouth, smearing your saliva across your lips and cheek.Â
His thrusts grow ragged as he presses his lips against yours. You know that heâs close, and you were too, if only you could⊠Your hand slides between your bodies and down your stomach, but before reaching where you need it the most, cold fingers wrap around your wrist. âStupid humanâ, Taehyun groans as yanks your hand away.Â
The whine that escapes your lips is soon replaced by a soft gasp as his fingers circle your clit. Your legs around his waist tremble as you finish around his cock, a cry of pleasure emitting from deep within your throat as your nails dig into his arms whilst you continuously clench around him.Â
Taehyunâs lips travel down your neck, licking over the previous bruises heâd left before hovering above the sensitive bite marks. Youâve barely come down from your high when you feel his hips stutter, the warm liquid that shoots up inside of you makes you completely unguarded for when his fangs re-pierce your neck.
The shock only lasts a moment as Taehyun rocks his hips into you, all the while he takes gulp after gulp of your blood. As you lay there panting, you think that you might just actually die, but then you feel him pull back, the sensation of his fangs withdrawing makes you shiver.Â
His tongue drags across the punctures, licking up the very last droplet of blood before he leans back to look at you. Despite everything, you still thought he was the most beautiful thing you had ever seen. Even as thick blood coated his lips and chin, his uncanny and red eyes peering at you; contrasting his sickly pale skin, you found yourself in awe.Â
Taehyunâs gaze shifts from your neck to your eyes, no matter how hard you tried; you couldnât possibly decipher a single thought going through his head. âPerhaps there is more to you than just your pretty face, humanâ, he murmurs as his tongue swipes across his lips.Â
âI intend to keep you.â

đ©· x Lando coffee shop/bookstore date plz
ohhh so gorgeous i love this immediately
You sigh, back pressed into the sturdy wood of the bookshelf, paper coffee cup warming your hands, âI donât get it, Lan. How can you not love them?â
Across from you, trailing his fingers across the spines of the books on the T shelf, Lando shrugs, âI dunno, babe. Theyâreââ, he cuts you a sideways glance, a little wary maybe, âThe words blur. âS not fun.â
You suck your teeth, feeling shame gnawing at your insides. You know heâs dyslexic, you feel a little bad that heâd had to remind youâ a little bad that youâre sort of disparaging him for not reading. Itâs just that books are integral to you. Completely unable to be separated from your very existence, your childhood, your adulthood so far. Itâs sort of unfathomable to you that Lando doesnât read, though you know for good reasonâ
âHey,â he says, moving into your space, drawing your attention as he does so, âStop freaking out.â
You frown, âIâm not.â
He makes a face. Eyes wide, almost rolls them and his mouth puffing out with trapped air for a moment. Like heâs calling you ridiculous without actually saying it.
âYou are.â
âHush,â you say, trying to swat his chest but ending up with a palm flat on the fabric of his t-shirt, ââM sorry. I was being pretentious.â
Lando laughs, a breathy thing. He reaches for your shoulder, his blunted nails scratch there in an attempt to soothe you.
âMate,â he properly rolls his eyes now, the nickname, usually reserved for friends, not girlfriendsâ betraying his frustration at your criticism of yourself.
Secretly, you like it. Makes you feel closer to him. Not like some potentially replaceable fling heâs having, and more like someone who knows him, cares for him, is connected to him in significant, important ways.
Regardless, you gripe, âDonât call me mate,â then you sigh, manoeuvring your coffee so you can wind one arm around his middle, âI was being pretentious. Not everyone devours books like theyâre running out of time.â
Lan pulls you to him, his firm chest flat against yours, his chin resting against your head. He turns, presses a kiss to your hairline.
âSweetheart,â he says, a twinge of exasperation to it, âItâs one hundred percent fine, I promise.â
You sniff, more annoyed at yourself than anything, but trying to forget the mishap, âIâll read to you? Howâs that sound.â
Lando hums, you feel it against your ear, sending shivers down the length of your back, âYeah, babe. That sounds perfect.â
i really like doing these little conversations/moments in a setting. i know its not super shippy but itâs a fun little vehicle to get some thoughts out about something or explore how an interaction might go. hope u guys are enjoying them!

Next Stop - C. Sturniolo
three times chris reminds you that your stop is next, + the time he gets off with you
Summary : You get distracted easily, and almost miss your stop going home from work. Luckily, there's someone who reminds you often.
Warnings : none <3
Word Count : 2268
Pairing : Chris Sturniolo/Reader (eventually romantic)
A/N : i am so excited to write this!
one
You had a long day at work.
Thatâs why it happened, thatâs why you fell asleep on the bus. You didnât fall asleep on the bus and nearly missed your stop because you were up nearly all night finishing work before its deadline arrived because you have a terrible habit of procrastinating things until the last minute. You were just tired, took the first seat you could find, and in the midst of the happiness of being on the way home, and the relaxation of being able to sit down and not have to focus on any work, you fell asleep. Thatâs exactly what happened.
You had nearly been late leaving work, something you never were, because the second that you could get out of that hellhole you were gone. It was incredibly rare that you didnât leave on time, because you worked so hard during the day to make sure that you never had anything that would keep you working overtime. And the longer you were at work, the more chance you had to miss your bus home, and you did not want to make that long, lonely, and honestly, quite scary, walk back to your apartment. Youâd done that before, and it was not a night that you cared to remember or relive.
Youâd gotten an email about twenty minutes before your shift ended, detailing another document that you needed to complete before you left that day. Your manager was a pain in the ass, as if he got paid for that instead of his job. If he did, heâd probably be rich and could quit. Youâd glanced over the document, knowing that you could complete it before you got off, and you did, but you dropped an entire file of papers right as you were leaving. You had to stop and pick them all up to put them in your work bag, and that caused you to miss the elevator down to the first floor. So that caused you to have to wait for the next one, and then it was raining as you got out of the building.Â
You got to the bus stop with plenty of time before the bus got there, and you got on as quickly as possible, tired of being in the rain. You were simply exhausted in general, and as soon as you sat down in a seat, you set your work bag down in your lap, pulling your headphones out and plugging them in, staring out of the window as you played some music through them. You watched all the other vehicles go by, all of them beginning to blur into one long stream of darkness. You were seated close to the front of the bus, and you were grateful for that, so when your stop came, you could quickly get off. You saw a reflection in the window, across the aisle. It was of a boy, around your age, maybe a year or two older. You didnât think much more of it, simply enjoying getting to relax, but you relaxed too much.
You jolted awake to see the boy from the reflection standing over you, gently shaking your shoulder. He had an apologetic look on his face, and backed up as soon as he noticed you were awake.Â
âSorry, but your stop is next. I didnât want you to miss it.âÂ
Looking up, you saw that the bus screen clearly displayed your stop next, and without even bothering to think about how this boy had known that, you got up, quietly thanking him, and picking up your stuff so that you could get off of the bus.Â
two
Youâd fallen asleep. You couldnât believe youâd fallen asleep, at your desk no less. Luckily, you had completed all of your work by that point, but you had dozed off right after. Youâd been incredibly tired lately, and you really had no excuse for it. Youâd been sleeping a lot, but clearly not getting enough good rest. You just wanted to close your eyes for a couple moments, and somehow youâd ended up falling asleep, and only woken up because the last person in the office had left, and slammed the door way too loudly. Realizing the time, you quickly rushed out of there, luckily right on time today. You managed to get on the bus just as it was about to leave, breathing out a sigh of relief as you threw yourself down into a seat, work bag on the seat next to you.
âNearly missed it.âÂ
You turned around at the voice, noticing the same boy who had woken you up last week sitting two rows behind, and one aisle over. You smiled a little bit, not being able to find it in you to be annoyed at his comment, given that he had a bright smile on his own face.
âYeah, almost.âÂ
âGlad you didnât. Wouldâve been a long walk.â
You didnât know why you were so open to chatting with this complete stranger, but you figured you owed him the politeness. After you had entered the conversation, you found that you were actually enjoying it. You talked for the whole bus ride. You found out the guyâs name was Chris, and that he had three brothers, two of them being his triplet brothers. He worked at a restaurant that was actually quite close to your work, which explained why he was always on the bus when you were. He got on one stop before you, and got off one stop after you. Heâd seen you on the bus a lot, and that was how he knew when your stop was.Â
He actually seemed to be a very nice guy, and the conversation flourished. You shared what you both did for work, a lot about your family and friends, and it really was like you had known each other for ages. You didnât notice how quickly the bus ride went by until he was pointing towards the bus screen, where the stop before yours was flashing on the lights.Â
âAs lovely as it is talking to you, you have to get off of the bus soon.âÂ
You sighed, smiling, a part of you disappointed in having to leave.
âSo I do. I loved talking to you too! I assume Iâll see you on the bus again at some point?âÂ
He returned your smile, handing you your work bag.Â
âIâm sure you will. Have a safe walk home, okay?â
âIâll do my best. You too!âÂ
You discovered random photos of Chris in your camera roll when you got home, and they made you laugh. He must have taken a bunch of them while you were putting your headphones back in your work bag. Unbeknownst to him, you favorited them all.
threeÂ
You were blaming your tiredness on a bad week. Thatâs all it was. That had to be all it was because being this tired was completely out of control for you, but you couldnât deny how the day at work made you want to quit and run away forever. If money werenât a problem, you would do it.Â
You got out of there on time today. You werenât running early, and you werenât running late either. You left there at five in the evening, on the dot, and you were ready for the day to be done. You were so exhausted that you didnât feel that much at all, nothing except for the lack of energy in your veins.Â
Stepping on the bus, you could barely even muster a smile at Chris, sitting in his normal seat. As he saw you, he smiled, but it immediately faded when he saw your face. You looked drained, sad, even, and he wasted no time in getting up to sit next to you, in your usual seat. He looked at you with sadness in his eyes, reflecting your own.Â
âWhatâs going on?âÂ
You felt pitiful in your response, and you had no idea why you were even opening up to him. Youâd only talked to him once before, but somehow, you felt like you trusted him wholeheartedly already. You felt comfortable speaking to him, even though it was through shared whispers on a semi-crowded bus.Â
âIâm just so tired.âÂ
He nodded understandingly, and in his head, he was fighting the urge to just hug you, but he knew a lot of people didnât like to be touched outright without being asked. So, he took a chance, and asked.Â
âWould a hug help?â
You sighed, nodding.
âA hug would be great.âÂ
You let him wrap an arm around you, and he let you rest your head on his shoulder. His hug was just as comforting as he looked. You couldnât deny the fact that you felt insanely comfortable with him, and you were so tired that you didnât have the energy to even think about why that may be. You just let it happen, and so did he. Unbeknownst to you, he was thinking the exact same thing.Â
He noticed how you didnât offer up any more information, and he also noticed how your breathing evened out, and your arm around his back relaxed a little bit. Looking down, he noticed that you had fallen asleep on his shoulder. He found it nothing but cute. There was no part of him that could deny the fact that he found you attractive, and he had since the first time he saw you on the bus. He couldnât believe that he had you asleep on his shoulder, so wholly trusting of him despite barely knowing him, but he had no intentions to disturb you.Â
He sat there, scrolling on his phone, letting you rest on his shoulder as he waited for the stop before yours to pop up on the screen. He silently begged for the bus to go slower, for the bus to hit every red light possible, for the speed limits to drop, because he wanted to soak in every minute possible that he was getting to spend with you.Â
Unfortunately, the stop before yours popped up too early for his liking, which meant that it was time to wake you up. As he slowly adjusted you, you woke up, having never been the deepest sleeper, and your face flushed red as you realized that you had fallen asleep on him. You opened your mouth to speak and he cut you off, that same smile back on his face.
âI get the feeling that youâre about to apologize. You donât have to. Your stop is next, donât want you to miss it.âÂ
You sighed, getting up, and already missing the comforting feeling of resting against him.Â
âThank you. Iâll see you again?â
âCanât avoid me for long. Walk safe, okay?âÂ
âI will.âÂ
You smiled, waving at him as you got off of the bus, ignoring the happy feeling that went through you when he gave you a huge smile back.Â
+ oneÂ
You got on the bus and were shocked to not see Chris sitting in his normal spot on the bus, and you couldnât deny that you were slightly sad about it. However, your spirits rose once more when you saw that he was getting on one stop after you. He noticed you, and immediately sat down next to you.
âThank god youâre here.âÂ
You smiled at his comment.
âMissed me that much?âÂ
âYes. I did, actually.âÂ
He wrapped an arm around your shoulders, a gentle smile on his face. You talked like you did on the second bus ride you noticed him on, and it felt like a conversation that lasted forever and also lasted just two seconds at the same time. Chris couldnât deny that he was undeniably attracted to you. You were pretty, funny, and he just loved being in your presence, even though he didnât have much time with you so far. He really hoped that would change soon, and as the bus approached your spot, he interrupted your conversation.Â
âThis is normally when I tell you to walk home safely, isnât it?âÂ
You smiled, a thing you did a lot around Chris.
âIt is. I suppose you should be saying it?âÂ
âI was actually hoping I could say something different today.âÂ
You raised an eyebrow, a slight smirk on your face, deciding to humor him.
âOh? And what could that be?âÂ
âI was hoping I could get to walk you home today.âÂ
You had a look of surprise on your face, but not one that displayed that his suggestion was unappealing.
âAre you asking me to let you come back home with me?âÂ
You had a joking tone to your voice, but you were halfway serious about it. You werenât opposed, though. Chris was incredibly sweet and attractive, and a night with him sounded like fun, even if it was just a night.
âNot necessarily. I could walk you back to my place, but youâd be subjected to meeting the other people who live there and have the same face as me.âÂ
You laughed, standing up, and grabbing your things.
âYou can walk me home. And come in, if youâd like to.âÂ
âI would love to.âÂ
You couldnât deny that things had moved incredibly quickly between the two of you, but years down the line, when you got to tell the story of the way he held your hand the entire way home, made eating microwave food on the couch seem romantic, and even managed to steal a few kisses from you before the night ended, the speed of it didnât seem to matter.

Honda Oddysey Scene but in Evolution
This is a snippet of my X Men Evolution Deadpool AU that's been on my mind lately. Inspired by the most talked about scene in Deadpool and Wolverine
It was hard to tell when exactly the night rolled around. It was still dawn when they arrived in San Francisco and they haven't left their beaten up meat truck since.
Wolverine was still driving without any kind of direction. His mask was on, but his frown was visible through it. Deadpool, driving shot gun, seemed to had completely dissociated himself from his surroundings. He was switching between radio stations and trying to find the right music. The mutant, unfortunately, had to suffer through each song whenever the other man changed his mind. Currently, they were listening to Cher's 'If I Could Turn Back Time'.
A few seconds passed. Another switch, they were listening to 'War' by Edwin Starr.
Another few seconds. 'Shake your Groove Thing' by Peaches and Herb.
Another few seconds. 'Sugar, Sugar' by the Archies.
Before another few seconds passed, Wolverine reached out and turned off the radio, momentarily returning his attention on the road. The lack of eye contact and how quickly it happened made it come off as passive-aggresive.
"I was listening to that." Deadpool said, in all his audacity. Logan didn't give him the luxury of response. The mercenary tried to focus on the window, but without the background noise, his need to open his mouth grew stronger.
"I was going to give you half of the cut, you know." He said after a second, looking at Wolverine, who still refused to give him time of a day. "I'd never make it not worth your time. Think whatever you want of me, I treat my business partners with respect."
"You lied to me." Logan suddenly growled. Somehow, he sounded even more angry than usual.
"Strike two, ferret man." Deadpool said, making a peace sign at him. "I said that I needed your help, and I said that the old Hydra base could be of interest to you. Not my fault they didn't have any info on your past. That didn't count as lying, I just didn't tell the whole truth."
The mutant snarled, making Deadpool jump. He saw him gripping the wheel, which he was sure would leave a few dents. Not that he planned on returning the vehicle at that point.
"What? Tell me honestly, would you help me if I came up to you and said: 'Hey, Wolvie! Some rich weirdo paid me to go and steal something from this place that looks like a horror rip-off of Area 51! Also, did I mention that this place is full of freaky water tanks? Also also, did you know that apparently, our healing factor isn't immune to drowning?'"
"Would've been nice knowin' that before you waltzed right into a trap." Logan retorted through gritted teeth.
"You've had your healing factor longer than I have." Wade said, leaning against his seat and crossing his arms. "That one's just on you."
And just like that, Wolverine's buttons were pushed. Without any warning, he made a sharp turn. Deadpool regretted not tightening his seatbelt when he had the chance as he crashed onto the door next to his seat. The truck fell off the road and down the hill. It was far from a pleasant experience, but thankfully, it survived to tell the tale. It landed on a beach right under their road. It was empty, so the mutant parked on its sand.
As soon as the vehicle stopped, he swung and punched Wade in the face. The mercenary screamed, hiding it in his hands. He was lucky that he wore his red mask because he was pretty sure Logan broke his nose.
"Dude-!" Wade shouted. Before he fully recovered, he felt a strong grip on his neck. Now that Logan wasn't focusing on the road, all of his rage was directed at him.
"You want an apology? Fine, I'm sorry!" The mercenary managed, holding onto the hand crushing his neck. "If I knew you'd be so mad, I'd ask that brute Sabertooth to come! But I didn't, because I like you more!"
Logan roared as he slammed him against the back of the seat.
"You lied to me! You wasted my time! And because of you, we're bein' hunted down like animals!" The mutant's voice was barely there with all those grunts.
"I didn't lie!-"
"Yes, you did! You used my lost memories against me! You knew how much it meant to me to regain them and you still manipulated me into doin' your dirty work! You used me as a weapon, just like everyone else!"
"... Oh, boo-freaking-hoo!" Deadpool frowned, growing more defensive. That shift caught Wolverine off guard. "Little Wolverine can't remember his first day in new school! Guess what, jerk, I don't remember much after my experimentation either! But I don't let that hold me back! Here are some hard pills to swallow: You're so desperate to know your past that you let me of all people make a monkey out of you! Me! Keep trusting the wrong guys and soon you won't even have a future to look forward to!"
After he finished, he looked back at Wolverine. He was staring at him with this empty look that freaked him out even more than the angry snarl. Suddenly, he let him go and Wade fell back on his seat. He coughed and massaged his neck.
"Look, Wolv. I'm sorry." He tried, because he couldn't handle seeing him like this anymore. "Really, I am. But take it from me, maybe it's better to just forget... No hard feelings?..."
He didn't know yet that he said too much. Wolverine was silent for a few more moments. Then, he wheezed. The mutant threw his back against the seat, and running his hand up his scalp, he succumbed to his laughter. It wasn't a pleasant sound at all. It was strained, almost hysterical, and obviously provoked more by his fury than actual amusement. Still, it was the first time Deadpool actually made him laugh.
"Oh wow!... " The mercenary said through his nervous chuckle that was muted by Wolverine. "So that's how you laugh! Just as terrifying as the rest of you!... I didn't say any joke yet, though."
"You didn't have to." Logan sighed deeply, partially regaining his posture. The next look he gave Wade was entirely venomous.
"You are the biggest joke I've ever seen! There hasn't been as much of an audacious, or insecure, or callous stain on humanity than this manchild I have the displeasure of sittin' right next to! You're good for nothin' but spreadin' mysery everywhere you go! You ain't got no morals, no friends, and you make it everyone's problem, 'cause you can't ever accept the fact that your actions have consequences!" Logan paused to catch his breath. Deadpool visibly shrinked in his own seat. Suddenly, the mutant's claws came out and he shoved them to the back of the truck, scraping its surface in a long line.
"Oh, how I wish I pushed you off that cliff first time we've met! Maybe that would've gotten the message through your dense skull, just how much I want to see you set on fire! Hate doesn't even begin to describe what I'm feelin' towards you! Ain't no wonder why that blue woman you keep yappin' about hasn't come back to you yet! You have to make up an imaginary girlfriend to protect your delicate feelin's from the fact that nobody will ever want you! How 'bout this hard pill to swallow: The doctors that tortured you didn't ruin your life! You did! You have to act like an obnoxious clown, otherwise no one would ever give you the attention you're so obviously cravin'! I can't wait for the day when you'll wake up and realise that you'll be spendin' the rest of eternity alone, and you can thank only yourself for that! But that's just wishful thinkin', 'cause you're-" His claws pulled back and he slammed his fist against the marked metal.
"-too-" Slam!
"-stupid-" Slam!
"-to think of anythin' outside of your own bubble of insanity!" SLAM! The wall bended and partially fell apart, just enough for them to see the inside of their cargo.
At long last came the silence. Logan used his hand to support himself from collapsing. He panted and bared his teeth at the mercenary who grew concerningly quiet. Not for Logan, though.
"No more jokes, bub?" He leaned closer and sneered, not being able to resist one last jab. "Come on, give me a real tear-jerker. I'm feelin' like laughin' for a change."
He looked directly into Deadpool's eyes. All he saw in them were two empty voids. The mutant settled back on his seat and tried to catch his breath. A second later and he would've regretted some of the things he said.
"... Take it back." Deadpool murmured softly. Had it not been for Wolverine's super hearing, he would've missed it.
"You don't know when to quit, do you?" The mutant snorted loudly. It was his own enjoyment of seeing the mercenary be put in his place that led him to lower his guard. Before he knew, Wade grabbed the back of his head, painfully gripping a handful of hair and hood.
"I said take it back!" He roared with the anger he never let anyone see. Without any warning, he slammed Wolverine's head against the front of the car. Then he did it again and on his third time he accidentally turned on the radio.
'Why Can't We Be Friends?' by War started playing.
Slam!
'Express Yourself' by Madonna.
Slam!
'You're the One That I Want' from the musical Grease.
"Why you little-!" Wolverine wouldn't take it any longer. He grabbed onto whatever he could and prevented Deadpool from slamming his head again. He pulled out his claws and jammed them into the other's right shoulder. Wade cried out. Using the moment of distraction, the mutant freed himself. Then, he grabbed Wade's head, pulled him close, and then slammed his head against the radio. This time it played 'Don't Go Breaking My Heart' by Elton John and Kiki Dee.
Despite being a taller man, Deadpool had to trouble slipping into a different position in his limited space. He kicked Logan onto the door, breaking the window and leaving a huge dent. The mutant growled, glaring back at him with pure fire in his eyes. Deadpool tried to throw a hit, but Logan caught his fist and then repeatedly punched him in the face. Wade dodged and a hit full of claws meant for him punctured the already beat down back of the truck.
The mercenary used this for his advantage. He managed to grab Logan by the shoulders and then threw him in order to take down the rest of the space separating them from the cargo. They both fell into the cold, smelly abyss where they could barely see each other. Not that it would stop them.

hi hi!! could you do a femreader x ministry taker forbidden romance type thing? something like our kingdoms are rivals/taker is rivals with our father, but we ended up falling for taker and find ways to meet with him. would be awesome if you could include smut! thank you đ
Hellooooooo, lovely Anon! Iâve dipped in and out of this one ever since you sent it to me, as I donât think I can do it as a one shot, so here is Chapter One. I have no idea what to call it as a title overall - if anyone has any thoughts on that, please feel free to drop them into the comments.
Awaiting Title
Chapter One - An Unexpected Visitor
You stare out of your bedroom window at the approaching carriage, pulled by a team of four majestic black horses, complete with purple bridles and deep, plum coloured plumes. The coachman pulls the horses to a prancing, neighing halt and you draw back away from the glass as a giant of a man emerges from the vehicle.
He pauses and looks up at the house, a severe expression on his face and you gasp and freeze when heâs suddenly looking right at you. His countenance seems to soften and you could swear you saw the corner of his mouth pull up into the tiniest hint of a smile. Youâre completely bewitched as your eyes lock with his, but the spell is broken when he looks away and then you hear a loud knocking at the front door.
Thereâs a short silence and then some scuffling that you can make out even through your closed door and feeling slightly panicked you rush to open it, only to be faced with your elder brother.
âGet back inside,â he hisses urgently. âThis doesnât concern you!â
âWhatâs happening?â You ask, matching the whispered pitch of his voice. âWho is that man? What does he want?â
âI told you, itâs none of your concern - now stay there and keep quiet!â With that he pulls the door closed and must be holding it shut because youâre unable to shift it an inch. About ten minutes later you hear the front door bang closed and so you rush back to the window to see the giant striding back to the open door of his carriage. Your nose is all but pressed against the glass when he turns around and looks back up at you. He pauses and then turns around fully and then⊠he points at you. Heâs mouthing some words that you canât make out but you find yourself nodding and then he turns away, climbs into the carriage and the coach is leaving up the drive in a cloud of dust.
Who was he?
~*~*~*~*~*~
Itâs raining⊠you can hear it against your window when it pulls you from sleep. You lay there with your eyes closed, listening, and then gradually come to realise that the sound isnât regular. Intrigued, you slip silently from your bed and cross over to the window where you draw back the curtain just as the noise comes again. The crumbs of soil from the flowerbed below bounce off the glass and then you see him stood on the driveway. The gaslight on its tall pole behind him sets him into shadow but thereâs no doubt that itâs the man who visited earlier in the day. Your eyes have grown accustomed to the dark now and you can make out some of his features but you donât have time to contemplate as he raises a hand and beckons to you with a single finger.
You turn away and almost without thinking take your robe from the back of the door and then very quietly turn the handle and step out on to the landing. Taking great pains to make as little noise as possible, you make your way down the staircase and then youâre carefully drawing back the bolts on the heavy front door and turning the key. You pull the door open and peek around it as clearly thereâs still a shred of sanity within you. He doesnât advance and so you leave the safety of the house and walk towards him. You stop about six feet away and take in the sight before you. Your brain hadnât exaggerated earlier - he really is a giant and if you stood next to him you doubt you would come up to his shoulder.
âI had to see you again.â He says, his voice a deep rumble. âWhen I noticed you at the window earlier today I was captivated - it nearly made me turn away from my business with your father.â
Heâs dressed all in black with a heavy cloak around his shoulders, and he has long hair that is pulled back into a neat braid. The thought flits through your brain that itâs dreadfully odd for a man to have long hair⊠then you realise what heâs said and so you reply, âWhat is your business with my father?â
The man gives you an inscrutable look and then says, âHe has some land that I would like to purchase but at the moment heâs⊠not very receptive to the idea.â
You pull your robe around you as a breeze whispers through and flutters the leaves on the trees and bushes.
âForgive me - I know the way Iâve gone about this is far from ideal.â He says and removes his cloak with a small flourish. He takes a couple of steps that bring him startlingly close and swoops the heavy wool around your shoulders whereupon it trails on the ground.
âIâm sure if you approached my father, he would permit a more traditional meeting.â You volunteer as you smile up at him, but he shrugs with one huge shoulder.
âI fear not - our interaction was not particularly amicable. But I simply had to see you up close.â
âWhereâs your carriage, sir? Or did you make your way here on foot?â As you stare at his chest, youâre dimly aware that all this small talk is quite ridiculous given the situation but what else can you say?
The corner of his mouth twitches in a tiny smile and he half-gestures behind him. âI left it out towards the road; nobody will happen upon it.â
You breathe in the scent of incense that hangs around the fabric of the cloak heâs wrapped you in. âWhat happens now?â
He reaches out and gently touches your hair and you feel as though youâre under a spell. Stood here in the cool night air in your nightclothes, with a stranger, wearing his cloak. Everything about it is wrong and yet you feel so at peace.
âI will return in two days, at noon; thatâs the deadline that I gave to your father. Will you meet me at the road at half past eleven?â
Youâre nodding âyesâ even as you frown and say, âWhy have you given him a deadline?â
He doesnât answer, but takes your hand and raises it to his lips, kissing it softly and youâre sure you can feel the skin tingling where his mouth touches. He gently turns you back around and ushers you towards the still ajar door, slipping his cloak from your shoulders. âToday is Tuesday. Come meet me at the road on Thursday and we can talk before I visit with your father.â
You move through the door and then quickly turn back, but heâs already striding away from the house and you know that you canât call out. You quietly push the door closed and lock it up again before creeping back up the stairs to your room. You go straight to the window in case you can catch a glimpse of him but the darkness reigns and you canât make out much at all. Still slightly chilled from the outdoors, you climb back into bed still with your robe on and turn on to your side. You close your eyes and bring the hand that he kissed up to your face and drop back off to sleep with your lips resting close to where his brushed your skin.

Masterlist
NGMLTS Part One | Part Two | Part Three | Part Four | Part Six
"Come on, come on, come on-"
You step forward towards the edge of the road, making sure not to accidentally step 5 inches deep into another puddle of rain water. There, your eyes catch sight of another pair of car headlights on the fast approach in the distance.
Its florescent glow expands like tiny, white orbs within the black of night, speeding by ever closer each passing second.
Perfect timing.
You stick your thumb out, using your other hand to try and wave down the approaching vehicle.
"Hey!" You call out, as though they can hear you over the sound of their own vehicle. The growing sounds of trees around you blowing in the wind like it were trying to conjure up a tornado hadn't helped either. "Hey, I could use some-"
The car zips by, carrying a gust of wind which insultingly hits you on its departure. You scoff to yourself, watching their red tail-lights slowly disappear down the road, and suddenly you're reminded of the predicament you'd just found yourself in.
That's the fourth car that's driven past you since your car unexpectedly decided to take a shit on you halfway through on your drive home.
Deep down you knew you should have just had your date pick you up from the jump; your car being a piece of shit had been a secret to absolutely no one. Just three weeks ago, the damn thing died on you in the parking lot on your way home from work. However, you've had one too many experiences with being trapped at someone's place without a vehicle to know it's best to be your own ride home.
Or that would normally be the case.
Honestly you wished you'd just Ubered now that you're outside, stranded on some empty road too far from town to walk but just far out enough to be an inconvenient for anyone willing to come get you, in the dead of night at that. But at least it had stopped raining.
Its residue still remains on the dark roads. You knew you had been out far in the boonies just from the lack of streetlights, seeing how pitch black your surroundings had been. It almost felt like a wall of sorts, some sort of abyss, boxing you in. It makes you feel like you're being watched (even though you're absolutely not).
Still, it motivates you to step back into your car, settling into your driver's seat with a frustrated huff.
By now, the remainder of the car's heat had been zapped out, all its interior lights completely dead. Some false sense of hope drives you to try and twist your key in the ignition once more, only to have your dreams retroactively crushed once you see the key completely stuck in its hole, just as it had been for the past forty minutes now.
It brings you to check your messages another time. You'd all but gone through your contact list trying to find someone that could come get you; that tends to happen when it's 1am.
You called your date first, seeing as he would be the closest to you and it hadn't been like you'd left on bad terms.
One month, now that you think about it. You hadn't noticed the time flying by, though it's not to say your time together had been anything remarkable. Just a change to your usual FWB and one-night stand order. He liked taking you out on nice dates and you liked going back to his place to fuck, and seeing he wasn't insufferable, it worked, for now.
However, his ringer had gone straight to voicemail when you called. At first you questioned why that could have been, but then you'd remembered him mentioning his phone being on the verge of death in the midst of the movie you'd been "watching". It crossed him out all the same.
Soap and Price were some of the least reliable men to reach at night, though it had only been because they valued their sleep, and did so like professionals. You weren't surprised in the slightest when they hadn't picked up.
You didn't even bother calling Gaz; the man didn't have a car. And every other one of your friends was either too far away for it to be worth the drive or just unavailable. By the time you'd called the last name listed on your lifeline and it didn't pick up, the hopelessness started to bubble up again.
But then you remembered one other person you could call, someone you're sure wouldn't even bother... if he even picks up.
Ghost.
The phone sits in your hand, purposefully procrastinating, as your eyes toiled on his contact name on your phone. Reluctant.
There's really no way he would pick up; he'd all but made it clear to you that he'd rather do without your being around him as is. What makes you think he'd want to get out of bed in the middle of the night for you?
And yet, your gaze lingered on his number.
Who else was there, if not him?
You slowly dial in his number, nausea swirling in your stomach at each press, until you've heard the phone begun to ring.
You place the cool glass to your face, listening to the other line ring, awaiting to hear that familiar automotive voice message system of his.
However, the air catches in your throat when you've actually heard the other line pick up, sounds of covers shifting and a man's heavy sigh filling in this period of silence that's gone on far too long for you.
"You do realize what time it is, don't you?"
You roll your eyes, sinking back into your seat as you settled in for this conversation. Welp, you called him, and here he is. Time to deal with that.
"I had no idea," you say sarcastically.
"Should probably buy a watch then," he teases.
"You offering?"
"No."
You can't help but do anything else other than smack your lips together in response. "I'll just keep doin' me then, boo," you say.
"A shock to no one, I imagine." You hear Ghost groan gruffly on the other end, clearly having been in bed. "So what then? Your date end poorly or somethin'?"
While he had been making a jab at you, his words were more revealing than he realized. Clearly, he'd still been thinking about you, despite wanting to act like you'd been the one bothering him right now.
It makes you giggle under your breath, though you're loud enough for him to hear. "It went great actually," you say. "He really knows how to wine and dine a girl down."
"No doubt letting a man actually treat you like a woman for a change is a new experience for you," Ghost remarks.
"Guess it just took finding the right guy for the job," you remark back. "He's got you on a run for your money, Manchester."
The right guy, meaning anyone but Ghost, he'd imagined. Not in any tangible way beyond whatever lust-filled mistakes you two continuously shared between each other.
Ghost pauses for a moment. You know your comment had gotten to him somewhat. Though he spares little time for you to rejoice in it.
"He can have it," he says coldly. "We're done, remember?"
You're not sure why, but hearing him say that to you yet again -- with not a heartbeat to spare, it only seemed to make your own heart run a bit colder.
Ghost only continues, his patience having run thin since talking. "Why are you calling?"
You hesitate to speak at first, your pride already having been bruised just having to call him to begin with. You sigh lightly to yourself, regaining your composure and cutting right to the chase. After all, what reason was there to be nervous? This was only Manchester.
"I need your help," you say plainly. "My car broke down and I'm in the middle of nowhere. I tried calling literally anyone else... but you're the only one who's actually answered. So... look, if you don't want to, just tell me now so I can call someone else, alright?"
Silence.
You have to look down at your phone to see if the man had hung up on you suddenly; it wouldn't have surprised you. But no, he'd still been on the other line, merely existing with his tightly shut lips.
After some more seconds have gone by, you've found the silence has driven you mad.
"Look, just forget-"
"Where are you now?"
That's not what you were expecting to hear. His words stop you dead in your tracks, your heart beginning to race once you finally had a plan in motion.
You sit up in your seat, already typing in Ghost's address into your Google Maps so you could get a good estimate of how long you'd be waiting. You wanted to cry when you saw the double digits, and nearly did when you read that 27 minute drive time.
You hum to yourself, trying not to sound too disappointed as you spoke.
"Well..." You sigh. "...It's not close."
"How far are we talking?"
What is he doing right now? He's been asking himself that questions since he tied the laces to his boots and slipped into his hoodie on the way out the door. He must look like a fool right now, he's sure.
Seven miles out had been how far you were from his place. Evidently, by the 4th mile out, Ghost had started to grow somewhat ticked off (seeing as it was now almost 2 am), but alas, he'd already been in his car and this far out, so there was no point in complaining about it now. Though he still couldn't believe he was doing it.
The night air feels good rushing through his open window. The icy wind scraps by him, leaving his pale cheeks a rosier pink, his short blond hair thrown about, and his knuckles a cold white, with the speeding swishing sounds of his car rushing down this long, empty road.
Ghost brought his balaclava with him (he had an extra one tucked away in his glove box), knowing he'll have to put it on once he's picked you up. Until then, however, he'd enjoy the freeing sensation of the wind against his skin, as it's the only thing reminding him that he is in fact driving to come get you right now and not just dreaming this.
He knew the smart thing would have been to say no. Ghost didn't trust himself almost as much as he didn't trust you not to try and escalate something out of this situation. That's how things always happen between you two after all. And yet... here he is on the road now. He'd ask himself what that was about, but he knew himself well enough.
Your car starts to come into view of his headlights on the side of the road, as Ghost has felt walls in him begin to form themselves, preparing for your presence.
He pulls his car behind you, quickly digging in his glove box and retrieving his balaclava before exiting the vehicle. It may be dark, but even then, he wasn't about to let you see him exposed so soon. Not like this, anyhow.
"There you are!" You step out of the car, dramatically swinging your arms out before slamming your door shut behind you. "You take the scenic route?"
"And I got gas," he adds.
You roll your eyes, crossing your arms as a cool breeze brisks by. "Of course you did."
Ghost looks you up and down unabashedly, seeing the attire you'd chosen to wear for your date tonight -- some outfit that wasn't too skimpy, but still left a lot for a man to crave more for. He can only imagine how much your date must have enjoyed himself with you tonight... it's started to make his chest tight just thinking about it.
"I didn't want to call you," you say all of a sudden. However, when you've seen the look he gives you after hearing that, it makes you soften up somewhat. It had sounded rather harsh out loud, didn't it? So you then sigh, "I wasn't sure you were gonna answer..."
Ghost sighs, the man simmering down now having seen you become more lax. Though he doesn't say anything. He wasn't quite sure what to say, because he would have answered if you called him. He did. Yet, admitting so out loud would make that something more real than what he was willing to admit. So he stays quiet.
You do your best to bring things back to ground level between you two. However, whether it be because you'd meant to do so, or just did not care for the weight of your words, you go on with your small tangent.
"I called Soap first," you say. "Then I tried Price after that."
"Ah," Ghost says dryly. "I'm well aware that I'm the afterthought."
"Maybe so, but... I called you still, didn't I?"
"And I still came," Ghost says.
You've paused for a moment, and your voice is softer than any tone he's heard from you before. It puts him on edge and makes his heart feel caught in his throat.
"Yeah, well..." You say. "Thank you."
Funny. He's never actually heard you say thank you to him before, and it's got him more giddy than he thought he would be.
"Don't worry about it." He approaches your vehicle now, taking a closer look. "So what's wrong with it?"
"I don't fucking know," you sigh frustratedly. "I've already taken the damn thing in for repairs three fucking times already and it still keeps doing this. I'm just sick of this fucking thing at this point-"
You kick your tire out of frustration, only to have the tips of your toes connect roughly with stiff, cold, rubber, your foot doing nothing to even make a bulge to it on impact. Immediately you yelp, though you tone it down, so as not to embarrass yourself in front of the lieutenant. No doubt he was in need of some more material to use against you at work later.
Of course, he can see that you're frustrated by the situation, and rightfully so, he thought. He never liked having car problems himself.
"Need me to jump it then?" he asks.
"You can try."
And try he does. The man's come prepared, having cables already packed away in his trunk for situations like this, having been here before. You step to the side and let him contend with things, assisting wherever needed, and sharing no other words beyond trying to fix the situation.
Once the cables were all attached to the batteries and his car was running, it didn't take long for the silence between you two to become defeaning.
You both stood leaning against your cars, staring off into the surrounding woods. Lost in separate thoughts that somehow always led you back to one another.
You kept looking over at him, taking quick glances with your peripherals. He kept his gaze ahead, not having wanted to look at you too much. Each time he did, he felt something stir in him that he hadn't wanted.
But for the first time in maybe ever between you two, it's Ghost who breaks silence before you.
"Have you thought about Friday?"
Naturally, it would be about work.
The word Friday brings a reaction out of you, reminding you of things you didn't yet wish to think about. This Friday. The day you and Ghost will be sent out on a month-long assignment together. Alone...
It wasn't like you two haven't fought together before; often times the others thought you made a great duo, in fact. Combatively, that is. If it wasn't his swift and collected movements on the battlefield, then it was your own cunning creativity which often gave the team the edge they needed.
As a whole team, it was easy to work with him -- you couldn't bicker if there were a million different things to pull your attention. But you wouldn't be with the team this time. It would just be the two of you now, a feet which had NEVER been done before.
You sigh again, hugging your arms to yourself to keep warmth.
"Don't really want to think about it, if I'm being honest."
"Will you be ready?" He asks.
"I'm always ready, Manchester," you jest. "What about you? Are you ready to be stuck with me for a month?"
Dryly, Ghost says, "I'm jumpin' for joy just thinkin' about it."
You chuckle at his comment, which surprises him, for some reason. Normally, your low giggles felt weighted with teasing mockery. However, the lilt to your voice now had been something more... welcoming.
And seemingly, you've noticed it's made Ghost somewhat more chatty than usual, given his silence earlier.
"So your date..." he unintentionally lets his words begin to drag. "You said it went well earlier?" He now asks, no longer caring how the question might come off to you. A simple answer would only suffice.
However, he already knows he can't ask questions like that without bringing the she-devil out in you.
"Mmm," you hum. "Wouldn't you like to know."
Ghost groans. "Forget it."
You're silent for a moment, and it makes Ghost think the end of that conversation. Though, you spend the time thinking, weighing between talking or silence.
"My date went fine," you say to him. "We didn't really do much. Nothing worth talking about anyway."
Ghost crosses his arms now, looking down at his feet rather bashfully, kicking a small pebble that had been rested at his boot.
"So do you like him?"
"He's alright," you say. "He's real sweet. Super understanding; I've never met such an open-minded guy before. Except for Soap maybe..."
You unknowingly begin to go on about this mystery man from before, describing him in delightful detail, all of which seemed to contrast with Ghost.
"I've never had a guy do that for me before." You said more than once, and Ghost was sure it had been true. After all, he hasn't necessarily been kind to you to begin with. Hearing now the differences it would have made only made him wonder of the what if's.
By the end of your small tangent, he'd felt your point had been made clear enough. But then you end everything you've just gone on about -- the compliments, the ups, and highs -- with a final comment.
"...Though... I don't see this lasting long."
He can't deny, that had actually excited him to hear, even as it doesn't make sense to him. Though he covers it under his usual, husky voice he wielded so dangerously. "Why's that?"
You look like you want to tell him the truth. You almost do, but it hadn't been a matter of pettiness as to why you don't quite answer the man. You instead shrug, keeping this nonchalant attitude you desperately wanted him to see you for.
"I don't know," you say. "He's kinda boring."
Ghost chuckles. "Boring?"
"He's just a bit too... simple for me? It's hard to explain."
"Not toxic enough for you, you mean?"
You laugh under your breath, having found some humor in his jab. "Maybe," you admit, sarcastically so. "Maybe I need a little screaming and petty arguments in my life. It just makes everything feel so much more... passionate."
Ghost just shakes his head. "You say that now."
You begin to smirk. "I don't know," you turn to look at him. "You must like that stuff too, Manchester."
"I don't," he says.
"Bullshit," you laugh. "Admit it, you eat this toxic shit up."
"You're wrong," he says. "I loathe it. It's unbecoming."
"If that's how you feel, then what were you doing fucking around with me then?"
It's a valid question, one that makes the man grow silent. What had it been about you that often turned him from his better judgment? It couldn't have just been the sex. No. Otherwise, it wouldn't burden him so much to know you thought of other men so much more highly than him, half of which being of his own doing.
Unsure of how to answer you, the man simply says to you, "I don't know."
The silence comes quickly, but it is felt by you both. Had another car not driven by to break this sudden trance, perhaps this conversation would have gone further. You both wondered as such, even as you wouldn't say so out loud. But it's the longest you've spoken without insulting each other. That significance would not be lost.
Eventually, your car managed to turn on, its dim lights twitching back to life amidst the night. Having not wanted to be put in a situation where he'd have to turn around, Ghost volunteered to follow you back home in his car. That way, if you broke down on the road again he could at least drive you back home himself.
You had been more than grateful enough to thank him again once your car had been running, smiling in ways you've not done toward him before in the past. In those moments, it had been easy to forget about all of that, having felt himself smile back beneath his mask, from time to time.
The drive back to your place is a short one, the roads having been empty, given how late it was. Ghost follows you to your driveway, watching you park at a small, one-story home you'd recently gotten on post. He remembers his way here without your guidance, having come here on his own so many times now. He'd even picked out a spot in your driveway he liked to pull into -- that same spot beneath the tall tree in your front yard.
Now that you were home, Ghost remained in his car, prepared to see you wave him goodbye before pulling out. However, you do no such thing, instead exiting your vehicle, and approaching his window.
He rolls it down, giving you a curious look. "Something the matter?"
"Wanna come in for a quick smoke?"
No, he thought. He should say no. He already told you he was putting an end here to this. An end to this toxic game of back-and-forth romance. What kind of man would he be if he could not keep his word with something as simple as this?
He would only be a man, and a human one at that.
Ghost has already stepped out of his car and followed you over to the entrance of your home. And just as he expected -- as he had feared and wanted -- once inside, having heard the front door shut behind him and the faint sensation of your body brush by towards your living room, he knew this wouldn't just be a quick smoke.
It started out with the two of you on your couch. The minute he sat down he felt the late hours start to hit him like a tidal wave, his eyes having grown droopy and tired. You looked the same, your movements having slowed since arriving home. Though it hadn't made you any less chatty.
In between grabbing a lighter and a pack of smokes for you two (a transaction that took you five minutes to do), you both gossiped about work. Ghost always knew you were a scandalous sort, however, it had shocked you seeing how willing the lieutenant had been to participate in the conversation. He had a lot more to say than you would have thought, in fact.
Once the cigarettes were lit, things only grew more random, Ghost feeling the urge to ask you the oddest hypotheticals he could think of off the top of his head. He had been serious when asking too, judging your answers, and providing his own afterward.
And while you two couldn't put it into words, at the moment, this had felt good to have.
You sink back into the couch, having finished your cigarette, and felt that final headrush. You enjoy it. You enjoy this.
You look to the left of you to see Ghost, his large body having sunken the couch down so much that your legs couldn't help but rest against his boulderous thighs. His mask is lifted, and his scarred lips finish off his cigarette. He blows the smoke out in front of him, as his eyes stay forward. And all the while, his body has felt every bit of your presence near him.
"Why don't we ever do this?" you ask suddenly.
Ghost looks your way, finding your eyes. "Do what?" He asks, his voice a low and raspy thing, vibrating through your whole body.
"This," you gesture around you. "Actually sit down and talk like this."
"You're not usually the best company," he says.
You pout. "Have you been around "you" before, Manchester?"
"I know the bloke pretty well, actually," Ghost jokes.
You scoff, a smile curving on your lips. "Then you know that he's an asshole a lot of the time."
"I do know that," he admits.
His honesty catches you off guard. You had been prepared to say something witty back too. Now it wouldn't work quite as well, his response spinning your mind in a curious way.
Ghost speaks before you, having been digesting this conversation in full himself. "To answer your question," he says. "I saw no point in trying to talk to you like this. You didn't like me. That much had been made clear, so I didn't bother. "
"So... you didn't wanna talk to me or be my friend," you say. "Yet you'll fuck me. That checks out."
Now you catch him off guard with that comment, watching his jaw tighten. It does so even more when he sees the little laugh you let out in response after.
"I'd doubt we'd make good friends anyway," you sigh.
"What makes you say that?" Ghost asks.
"It just wouldn't work," you say, and then start to grin. "We'd just keep wanting to fuck each other, I feel like. That or kill each other, whatever comes first."
"Wha', you can't fuck your friends?" Ghost jokes, feeling parts of himself bubble joyously when he sees you laugh.
"Not if you want to stay friends."
And there it was that Ghost almost felt the words leave his lips, the question and the answer. Who said you two had to stay as friends? Who says this has to stay as anything?
"Well..." he thinks to himself, looking down at his lap, as he lets his callous thumbs rub softly over his rough palms. He's now noticed your legs resting against his thigh, and how close you've been this entire time, your body heat having felt as cozy as a blanket to sit beside. "We haven't fucked tonight."
You smirk. "We haven't been at each other's throats all night, either," you lightly cheer. "A new record."
"This make us friends then?"
Ghost notices your leg shift, as you invite them to rest on his lap, his arms having nowhere else to lie but on top of them. Having them hugged so close to him, feeling your calves shift over his crotch (purposefully he's sure), quickly started to fog his mind of any previous thoughts he now had.
You watch his gaze follow your legs, traveling up slowly, making their way up your torso, past your chest and to your neck, then stopping on your lips, which you've licked into a playful smile. His dark eyes finally find yours, and he sees that familiar look in them. The look of trouble.
"I can't be your friend, Manchester."
"Why?" he asks again, his voice low, humming through you and making your body ache for him.
"I already told you why," you say cooly. "I want to fuck you too much to be your friend, Simon."
"Well, I already told you we can't."
"Then what's your hand doing?"
Indeed, this whole time you've let his voice soothe you, words be damned, you've felt his large hands slowly slide their way up your thigh, fingers grazing you roughly, craving to feel the flesh of you beneath your clothes.
His hand pauses at the brink of your hip, his body having leaned in more since doing so. It's pressed you more against the couch, your body slowly being caged by him.
Despite his actions, his eyes look at you with frustration, a million thoughts running through him. You were driving him mad, and he couldn't get enough of it.
You merely watch his eyes drop back down to your lips, and you smile. You lift your hand up, bringing it to his collar and letting your finger hook beneath the fabric. Your smile widens as you've felt his throat swallow against the gentle graze of your finger, his mask still having been lifted up to his nose, and his breath tickling your skin. You slowly pull him closer.
He doesn't even resist, his body moving along to your guiding hand, until his face had only been an inch or so from you, his eyes half-lidded and lost.
Despite the confidence you let off, your heart raced furiously in your chest. This hadn't felt anything like your times before, where the banter had been short, seeing as the real reasons for it were often carried out in swift succession. This had felt slow. Intimate. You had his mouth so close to you, and it kept buzzing in your mind, the whole thing that had him not wanting to do this from the start. The reason for this reluctancy. Some jealousy and measly lipstick.
"Kiss me," you say.
You swear you can hear his heart beating through his chest, watching the gears shift in his head and feeling the bulge in his pants start to brush against your leg. Rather than let him come to his own conclusion, you do the thinking for him, pulling him down by the collar and guiding his mouth to yours.
The second your lips touch his, it's as though no other actions mattered to him beyond having all of you right here and now.
Ghost kisses you roughly, letting his hands cup over your face and his body completely cover you, arms caging you in like a prison. The weight of his body takes your breath away, making you gasp into his mouth, as you've felt him grind himself against you. By now, his cock was already resting painfully so in his jeans, and you've felt him take that pain out with each gruff thrust he made against you. The second your lips have parted, his tongue has entered in, massaging itself against yours as though to have the complete taste of you with him.
As his lips did their absolute best lapping away at your mouth, the lower half of himself humped between your legs furiously, parting them at every motion and leaving you throbbing from each brief departure. You can't help but do anything other than hug your arms over him, hugging him close and letting your lips keep pace with him.
His body feels every bit of your hands run against his chest, hooking around his neck and lacing beneath his mask to feel his hair. Your legs hook around his waist naturally, hips jirating against his just as ravenously, as though you'd been craving him all day. The smallest of movements you make send him deeper into a passionate frenzy, turning the man near primal.
You wanted every bit of him right now just as much as he had wanted every part of you -- it had the man completely drunk in you. Large hands cupped so firmly over your cheeks as he kissed you that you felt consumed by him, neither of you having spared a breath away. His hands slide down your neck, making their way to your breast and aggressively groping them, reminding himself of the parts of you that you allowed him to misbehave himself with. The parts of yourself that would always be his.
He thumbs your nipples through your shirt, letting his fingers roll against them, and feeling your chest rise with each moan that it conjures. Your lips part again, your voice like ecstasy to him. He'd stay like this forever if he could. That's truly how he felt at this moment.
After a while, he couldn't keep himself from slipping his hand beneath your shirt, finally feeling the warmth of your body against his skin, before retaking your breast in your hand to continue his work.
By now you've kissed each other raw, your dry-humping having grown vigorous and hot in nature; the room filled with your heavy panting and his low grunts. Ghost's hips viciously pulsate against you, the bulge of his cock bumping in just the right amount of friction against your clit to the point that you hadn't even needed to feel him inside you to feel yourself soaking through your pants. Having felt it only made him press harder against you, as the man made an equal mess of himself.
It had felt difficult casting you aside with you so ready to have him every time you've graced his presence. Ghost knows he was making a mistake, letting you play with his emotions, but good God did you make him feel good when you wanted him to. You drip-feed him that lustful attention you give away so carelessly, and Ghost took each drop with begrudging starvation.
Your hands continue to curve behind his neck, your fingers teetering at the edges of his masks and keeping him pulled in. They touch the most sensitive parts of the skin behind his ears, parts of him that haven't been touched by anyone in years. Your fingers continue to slowly glide their way up, gently pushing his mask up more and more.
Almost as though to distract you from continuing with that action, his hands shoot down to your pants, as he's no longer able to hold himself back from you. He pries them from you, throwing both that and your panties to the floor, before lowering his own jeans down.
His massive length rested against your pussy heavy, almost like a veiny leg of its own, the man rubbing and smacking himself against you to his heart's content, groaning gruffly to himself each time. He grabs onto your legs, hooking them over your arms and letting your feet rest over his shoulders, as he pushes your knees back to your ears, preparing your body for a vicious pounding.
With no hesitation, once he's settled his body over you, he drives his cock in, his girth stretching you uncomfortably as he pushes himself so deep that he's felt his balls smack against you. The second he's felt you clench around him, your legs tightening over his body, and your lips parting with a sharp hiccup-like gasp, he lets himself go into his favorite mind-numbing pace with you.
Ghost fucks you into the couch, his cock smacking in and out of you with barely a second reprieve. Each time you've felt he might slow down, he only goes faster, making sure to hear the visceral sounds which left your cunt at each thrust, squeezing an orgasm from you that he's felt shake your entire body against him.
Yet feeling your orgasm hadn't been enough, it would never be enough. He kept the pace going even after, wanting to feel every breath that left you be wrapped in him, and every thump of your heart against his chest be because of him.
Through the sheer mayhem, he put both your body and mind in right now, you bring your hands back up to his face, returning his gaze to you. With your eyes locked, you can make out every detail, every feeling you each had harbored, both the good and the bad. He would have all of you, and you would have all of him.
"I don't want this to stop, Simon," you pant out.
Ghost finds himself at a loss for words, having replied to you in his head, and carried it out through action instead. He brings his lips down to you, kissing you once again, and making sure that you could feel every part of his reply through the taste of him.
His arms hug across you tightly, the quick and brutal rhythm he had growing erratic and desperate. He groans against your lips as he's cum in you, feeling himself pulsate against the deepest parts of you.
Ghost doesn't move from on top of you, having buried his face in the crook of your neck and wrapped his arms over you. You lie beneath him, your own arms wrapped lazily over him, hugging him against you like a weighted blanket, simply holding his heaving body to your own. You rest your cheek against the crown of his head, your eyes looking up to your ceiling as you've both now felt the dreariness of the night finally hit you.
You both pant, out of breath, now left with the uncertainty of what would be tomorrow. For once, you don't say anything to break the silence. You just let him lay there, and you do too. It would be morning soon enough.
Read Part Six Here!
My goal here is to start turning a toxic relationship into a maybe not so toxic relationship. It's gotta start somewhere. I just want to write about flawed individuals (it's nice feeling seen lol). But, I hope the dialogue worked, I really liked it. But anywho, that's it with my rambling.

âStrictly Professionalâ
(Knockout x Reader-insert)
Takes place after the events of Season 1 Episode 11: Speed Metal. An event that left Knockout without his driver-side door.
âDo you know how difficult that is to replace!?â
(Y/N) were bored. Painfully bored. Looking outside a mahogany-lined window pane, you had a stunning unobscured view of the sunset. The rolling hills were a lush green, and the sunset painted the sky gradient hues of gold, crimson, and lavender bordered by a tree-line comprised of spruce, pine, and cedar. It was a gorgeous view you had seen again, and again, andâŠ. Again. (Y/N) sighed. Growing up in a stunning villa in upper New York state had its perks, but despite being able to do whatever you wanted you never seemed entertained. You see, money can buy a lot of things: houses, luxury cars, private jets, trips around the world, etc. But it could never seem to stop the ever-constant boredom you often experienced as nothing was ever unexpected. As if something else was missing.

You looked at your phone to see a reminder you had set for the Exotic Car Show you were attending that evening. You were mostly ready as it was, just touching up your makeup a bit. Then you grabbed your phone and clutch purse before making your way down the spiral staircase to the front doors. You had chosen to dawn an elegant but edgy silver dress with an asymmetrical hem and a single sleeve on the right arm. Your footwear of choice were classic black heels, but with a reasonable pump-height so you didnât break your ankles. The doors were held open by your family butlers, as you made your way to the curb of the driveway at the front of your family villa.
Your familyâs wealth came from a combination of significant shares in various luxury-brand car manufacturers; your father being on the board of directors for Mercedes, and your mother the Logistics Manager also for Mercedes. Obviously the same workplace is how your parents met. Throughout your life, your parents had given you the world, albeit requiring you to maintain a job. So you work alongside your mother as her assistant. For the past month, your mother had been off who knows where in Europe on a business retreat. While you had been invited, you knew it would be nothing but hanging around other snooty rich business-types whom were always dull company. Also, why were rich guys always old and/or ugly?
Your chauffeur was waiting with the car door open. You entered the vehicle and soon you were off to the car expo. On the drive, you had been reading up on the potential reveals and demos that might be at the event. You were primarily excited about the exotic vehicle demos, as you had an appreciation of exotic cars. The horsepower, design, curvatures of the body frame, were nothing short of thrilling.
As your ride pulled up to the event, you exited the vehicle as your chauffeur assisted you. You acknowledged the chauffeur curtly, before entering the event space. There were a few minor celebrities taking photo ops; some wannabe playboys posing near their cars with groupies and models; and then the actual cars themselves scattered about a massive lot. Each vehicle had an attendant to provide information as well as prevent unwanted touching of the cars. You passed a silver Bugatti Chiron, a brand new Corvette Stingray, luxury Jaguar and Cadillac models⊠But something else caught your eye. A glint of red made you turn and approach a vehicle off to the side.
As you got closer you saw a stunning bright scarlet Aston Martin One-77 with white highlights. You couldnât deny that this was a sexy-ass car. âDamnâŠâ (Y/N) muttered. You approached the luxury vehicle and drank in its sleek form, the curvature of the design, the stunning richness of the paint job. As you walked around the car, you were jarred at the realization that the driver-side door was completely gone. âWhat the fuck happened to you?â (Y/N) exclaimed, âWho in their right mind wouldnât have replaced that by now?â Come to think of it, it was odd that this one car in-particular lacked an attendant which all other cars had present.
With the missing door, the temptation to climb inside was intense. The one thing her family wasnât big on spending money on were cars. Your parents thought that spending money on lavish vehicles was an unnecessary expense. Fucking ironic. Even if you couldnât have it, you were going to briefly experience the thrill of having such a stunning vehicle. You climbed into the driverâs seat and drank in the elaborate console, the impeccably clean interior, it even smelled brand new. You gently ran your hands over the steering wheel, imagining what it would feel like to drive it. As you indulged yourself for a moment longer, suddenly you found that the seatbelt was latched around you. âWhat the fuck? âŠWhen did iâŠ?â (Y/N) said in confusion.
Before you knew it, the car shifted into gear and peeled out from its spot. Multiple attendees of the event panicked and flung themselves out of the way. (Y/N) shrieked once before desperately pumping the brakes, but to no avail. When you tried to move the gear shift into neutral, you found that it didnât budge at all. After a few minutes of sheer terror and panic, you were no longer at the exotic vehicle venue, but instead on the outskirts of the city in a maze of alleyways. As the vehicle finally came to a stop, you heard strange sounds akin to shifting parts and an electronic sound. Before you knew it you were aloft in the air. In the hand of a giant robot who was giving you a highly-offended glare. You were frozen. You struggled to comprehend the situation, wondering if you might have lost your mind.
âHumans have no sense of respect! Itâs bad enough that Iâm missing a part, but now you decide itâs a bright idea to climb into a vehicle you donât knowâ the Decepticon exclaimed. It talked (Y/N) thought. Knockout looked down at the tiny human in his grasp, âI hope you enjoyed the brief joy ride, but I think now Iâll punish you for daring to touch me.â With his free servo, Knockoutâs servo transforms into a buzzsaw. You begin to panic, squirming briefly in the grip of the large metal hand around your waist before pausing. âWAIT! WAIT A SECOND AND I CAN HELP YOU!â (Y/N) shouted. The Decepticon raised an optic ridge and paused, âOh? And how could an insignificant human as yourself possibly help me?â You took a deep breath to compose yourself, clearing your throat before speaking further. âI can replace your missing door. I have resources.â
Knockout was clearly interested in where this was going, as he had been having a nightmare trying to replace that door. âGo onâŠâ You continued, âMy job is literally ordering supplies and parts for luxury and exotic cars, Iâm pretty sure I can order a replacement for you. Aston Martin One-77 right?â Knockout thought to himself for a moment, wondering when he would have such an opportunity to make himself whole again. The Decepticon turned his helm back towards the helpless human within his grip, âCorrect. I see you do know your vehicles, human. If you can indeed supply me with the replacement part I require, I will hold off on exterminating you.â
(Y/N) breathed a sigh of relief, âI can make the call right away, if I would be allowed to reach my phone? And t-trust me, Iâm not stupid enough to try to run in these heels.â âSo now you make wise decisions. Very well.â Knockout chided before slowly lowering (Y/N) to the ground and releasing you. You briefly adjusted your dress and hair before opening your phone and making a call. You didnât attempt any funny business, and reached out to one of your business contacts at Aston Martin Works. After a brief amount of small talk, you ordered the part and arranged its delivery. As you ended the phone call, you returned your gaze to the massive robot before you. âAlright I had the part ordered for you. And With express shipping.â
Knockout looked down at you, surprised you hadnât soiled yourself as most humans would have by now. âAnd how am I supposed to receive this part? For all I know, if I let you out of my sight youâll disappear and Iâll be left high and dryâ he mused. Finding your confidence you replied to him calmly, âThe part will be shipped to my home address at 11am sharp tomorrow. To prove Iâm good for it, you can drive me home so youâll know where to knock if Iâm lying.â The Decepticon scientist was taken aback by this human. Giving up her home address so willingly confounded him. Knockout could easily decimate her and her entire home, yet this human was so willing to cooperate despite her best interest. ââŠYou are a very strange human. You do understand I will squash you if youâre lying?â He placed a servo on his hip sassily. You watched his mannerisms and couldnât help but grin slightly, he was so sassy.
âYou are a giant transforming robot with a buzzsaw hand, and Iâm not an idiot. Iâll keep my word. Besides, youâll know exactly where I am since youâll be taking me home. And stop calling me âhumanâ my name is (Y/N)â you smirked. Knockout raised an optic ridge, albeit impressed with this strange human. âVery well⊠but touch anything and I will crush youâ he said before transforming back into vehicle-form. You took a pause before climbing into the driverâs seat, being careful not to touch anything. As the engine starts, you had expected the same aggressive driving as your previous abduction. To your surprise, the drive was fast but smooth. You tried to avoid speaking as much as possible, not wanting to push your luck, so instead you thought. You thought about the events prior to your encounter and pinched yourself to make sure you werenât dreaming. It couldâve been worse to be honest. You couldâve been kidnapped by an ugly white pedophile van. At least you were taken by a sexy Aston Martin.
After what felt like brief moments, your captor arrived at the gates of your family estate. You punched in the security code in the keypad and the gates opened. Knockout pulled up to the front doors and parked. As you tried to exit the vehicle, the seatbelt wouldnât unlatch and you looked back. âRemember, Iâll be close-by until our deal is seen throughâ Knockout hummed. You paused, âYou sure are untrusting for a robot. I donât have a car of my own so no worries on me going anywhere.â With that, the seatbelt released and you were able to make it inside of your home. As you climbed the staircase towards your room, you couldnât help but clutch her chest. You felt a surge of adrenaline and you knew it wasnât fear. No, this felt more like butterflies⊠You went into your room and immediately climbed into your bed. As your eyelids felt heavy, your only thoughts were of the intoxicating voice replaying in your mind. Until you fell asleepâŠ.
You felt slightly groggy as you awoke the next morning. Slowly as you climbed out of bed you remembered the last nightâs events. Just to be sure you hadnât dreamt it, you rushed to your window to look at the driveway. Sure enough, you saw the red and white Aston Martin parked there. A brief double-honk was audible, and you realized the robot could see you from the window. Your phone buzzed and as you opened it, you saw a security notification from the gates. You approved access and a delivery vehicle made its way up the driveway and delivered the part you had ordered. You made your way outside and signed for the delivery and the delivery employees carefully loaded the part into the Knockoutâs trunk. As soon as the delivery men had departed from the property, you approached the driverâs side door and leaned forwards, âLooks like I came through on my promise. Think that makes us square?â
Knockout hesitated briefly before replying, âWe shall see. After all you are technically a loose end, knowing of my existence and all. We will see if youâre worth more alive than dead.â As you lingered a moment longer, you couldnât help but ask a question that had been burning within, âJust in case you do decide to continue doing business with me, may I at least know your name?â Dead silence was the initial response and it lingered in the air for what felt like an eternity. âYou may address me as Knockout.â With that, Knockout revved his engine and quickly drove down the driveway and onto the main road. As he gained more distance between himself and the villa, Knockout questioned what he was to do about this human. He couldâve just killed her and be done with it, after all he did have the part he had needed. But a part of him didnât want to end this odd human. He brushed it off as a start to a strictly professional relationship, and a potential supplier if he needed any more replacement parts in the future.
A couple months laterâŠ.
After your first encounter with Knockout, you felt reinvigorated. That fateful encounter provided you with more excitement and adrenaline than you had ever experienced. After you had provided Knockout with the spare part, you were certain you would never lay eyes upon that robot again. To your surprise, you would have many more encounters with him. Apparently there were other giant robots whom Knockout would get into battles with, and would result in him needing replacement parts. With each encounter, you found yourself enjoying his company more and more. Finding both yourself and him to be fellow automobile enthusiasts. Your conversations even included some witty banter and jokes here and there. More than anything else, you found that your heart fluttered every time you laid eyes on him. You werenât quite sure why, but nonetheless you enjoyed being around Knockout.
It was a Thursday afternoon and you had met with Knockout at your villa to provide another spare part, as Knockout had lost a side-view mirror in a scuffle with what you knew as âAutobots.â You had wanted to attempt a more friendly relationship with Knockout, but never wanted to risk it. Today was the day you decided to be bold. After all, you had sent the staff home early. You approached Knockout at the curb of your driveway, âYou know, there is an International Auto Show being held in New York tomorrow night that will consist of the most expensive and luxurious vehicles from across the planet. Iâve got a ticket, but Iâm afraid Iâm short on a stunning ride to show up with.â
Knockout transformed from his vehicle mode and towered over you. He raised his optic ridge, wondering what on earth she was getting at, âYou do understand Iâm a highly advanced cybernetic being, not a taxi service? Besides, our relationship is strictly⊠professional and exists because Iâve chosen not to squash you. Yet.â You nod your head as you watch his body language. âMhm. Mhm. All true, except for the fact I donât think youâd want to squash me. I think youâve gotten fond of our âprofessionalâ relationship,â she uses air quotes and smirks. âThat and I donât think a vehicle enthusiast such as yourself would want to miss out on an exclusive reveal of new models before the rest of the planet. A shame youâll squash me and never experience it,â she says with an open smirk.
Knockout turns towards (Y/N) and gives her a look, a servo on his hip in his sassy mannerism, âNow now, I didnât say no. Honestly it would be embarrassing if you showed up in anything less stylish than yours truly.â You could feel your heart skip a beat as you tried to reply in a nonchalant manner, âSo youâre saying yes? I guess itâs a date then. The event starts at 7, so we should get an early start since itâs an hour drive.â
Knockout chuckles briefly before replying, âIâll be here at 7. Always best to be fashionably late.â He smirks before transforming, the shine from his polished chassis gleaming in the light of the setting sun. He dramatically peels out of the expansive and large driveway before leaving the property. As the Decepticonâs frame disappeared from view, (Y/N) sighed softly to herself, âAlways so dramaticâŠâ
As Knockout began his drive back to the pickup coordinated for the Nemesis, he couldnât help but have his gaze linger at the quickly disappearing villa in his rear view mirror. Perhaps the relationship between him and this human was a bit more than⊠strictly professional.

Dream Of Me
Chan x fem!reader
Description: y/n mentions her wild dream without details in a late night car ride with her longtime best friend. When they make it back to her apartment they wind down with music videos only for a certain one she couldnât keep watching to play and now she has to explain her dream. Little did she know Chan would make her dreams come true.
Word count: 2689
Notes: MDNI, first person POV, mature language, steamy dream, suggestive, dream description is foreplay, teasing, pet names, chain and choking kink mentioned
The streetlights did nothing to ease my mind from the dream I had during my nap. Everytime the light hit his skin perfectly I could only imagine how he would look right in front of me doing the things I dreamed about. I shouldnât be thinking this way of my best friend, we had spent all of our awkward years together, shared embarrassing stories, and helped each other achieve so many goals. We should only be best friends, but my mind and body want him in more ways than one. So much so, I think my heart is being convinced to let him in.
âWhat are you thinking about?â His voice cuts through my inner turmoil, sending it to a screeching halt and stopping my mind from thinking through my response.
âJust this wild dream I had earlier.â As soon as the words leave my mouth I look over at him with wide eyes not believing I said them. I would have to explain it to him now, we donât keep secrets. I pray he doesnât pry, but I would be stupid to believe he wouldnât.
He chuckles while looking away from the road for a second to meet my eyes, enjoying the surprise written across my face. âA wild dream huh?â I notice the small clench of his one hand at the top of the steering wheel, the rush it sends through my body is criminal.Â
I groan in frustration at my stupidity of letting him in on my dirty secret, I knew I should have canceled our weekly night drive. âPlease donât make me talk about it.â I drag my hands down my face, turning away from him in embarrassment.Â
His annoyingly adorable chuckle invades the silence again as he quickly throws his hands up in mock surrender when I look his way again. âAlright, alright, but just this once. I canât promise I wonât ask again tho. Letâs just enjoy this ride.â His free hand moves to my thigh to turn my body back to the front of the vehicle instead of away from him. He had done this so many times after I had grown annoyed with him and his jokes, but this time it felt intimate.
The way his hand slightly flexed against my bare skin, why did I have to wear shorts? The cool metal from his rings eased the heat rushing through my body, but of course I had to be wearing one of his sweatshirts. His scent woven within the fabric invaded my senses in the moment and I knew I was going to dream of him again.Â
Through the rest of the drive his hand would leave my thigh as he spoke and then find its way back to softly rub the smooth skin with his thumb. The things he does to me, and all because of that stupid dream.
âYouâre YouTube is still logged in on your TV right?â He asks as I set my keys on the kitchen counter of my apartment and grab a cold water, which I wave in his direction to ask if he wants one. His nod is soft but the eye contact sends a wave of heat through my body that makes me turn back to the fridge quickly.
âYea,â I clear my throat subconsciously, âI was watching music videos earlier.â
âNeeding some inspiration?â He asks, knowing my need for music to function daily but the videos help feed my inspiration for my own films.
I chuckle walking past him to get to my spot on the couch while passing the water to him, hyper focusing on the way his fingers gently touch mine in the transfer. âYou know me so well.â
âI would hope so.â His response has an underlying meaning, hinting at the fact we had grown up together in both countries surprisingly and by complete accident. Without wasting a second I curl up in my favorite corner feeling the need to be small as the tension I feel grows. I should have canceled.
Chan takes the TV remote and plays a random music video letting shuffle control which videos play like normal. I watch the videos intently, needing a distraction from the man only two feet away from me. Sadly no distraction was strong enough to keep my eyes from drifting to him occasionally, especially when he drank his water. I shouldn't be attracted to him, but he looks so delicious tonight, curse that damn dream.
âHold me tight, right now.â My eyes bulge as the next song plays directly from where I stopped it after I woke up from my nap. I couldnât watch that music video without thinking of Chan, my dream, and him choking me or using chains. I was fucked. Royally fucked when I let out a gasp I didnât mean to. His eyes cast over to my side of the couch realizing his music video started from a scene of him standing over Hyunjin who was writhing in the bed wrapped up in chains.
Every muscle in my body works to keep my gaze on the random set of books in the corner of my living space, I cannot make eye contact with him right now. The video keeps playing, but his eyes remain on me. I can vividly picture the video and my dream together as I try to remain calm. But he knows. Fuck he knows.
âTell me about your dream.â He says reaching for the remote on the coffee table to pause the video and ultimately turning off the TV. There were no more audible distractions, I could only hear his voice now. God please strike me down.
A gulp sounds from my throat as I continue to look around aimlessly, âhuh?â
I feel the couch dip as he slides closer to my side, making two feet become two inches. Why did he have to be so close?
âY/n. Tell me about your dream.â He wonât give up now, he let me have my one free pass and now he would ask until I told. Why did I have to react and why did I leave that video unfinished?
âUmm,â another gulp of both embarrassment and anxiety, âyou were there.â I meet his eyes now, facing the inevitable and just saying fuck it. What could go wrong? We have shared so many embarrassing stories before, laughed at horrible memories, and experienced the worst years of growing up together. If anything this would just be something else we would laugh about, thatâs it.
âYeah?â His focus remains on me as I notice his hand against the back of the couch close to my face and his other hand on his thigh. I notice how close he is, and how intimate this feels.Â
âWith me.â I turn my face away from him, needing a break from the intensity of his stare, he could ruin me just by looking at me.Â
âYeah?â He wants to know more, know it all, and with my brain turning to mush already I know Iâll eventually tell him everything. He has a power over me like no one else, and I canât believe Iâm only realizing it now.Â
A sigh escapes my lungs trying to relieve the tension building within my entire being, âin bed.â
âMmhmm.â He shuffles slightly, either feeling uncomfortable or needing to get comfortable. Either way I continue as I notice his eyes slightly darken, is he liking this?Â
âTouching.â When our eyes meet again with full intensity I know he likes what Iâm saying, I can see the way he is reading my face, my emotions, my body language, and my words all at once. His full attention is on me and me only. How is this turning me on?
âHow?â Is he leaning in?
âFirst with hands.â I remember it vividly, how we were touching each other with curiosity. Almost like we were trying to figure each other out.
âOkay.â His voice sounds slightly deeper, but heâs still wanting me to tell him more. Itâs driving me crazy.
âExperimenting in a way I guess.â I sigh and run a hand through my hair. âKind of figuring each other out in a new way.â
âHow did it feel?â God, Iâm sorry. I watch as he slightly darts his tongue out to wet his lips, oh Chan the things you do to me.
âGood.â I lie, because I know it felt insanely good that it alone made me crave him in just my dream.
âLike this?â His hand on his thigh reaches forward and touches mine in a different way than he did in the car. This time it felt heavier, warmer, and full of sexual tension we had built up over the years without realizing. And even then it is still just the ghost of a touch as he trails his hand against my skin feeling the way his hand glides smoothly against it. He doesnât stop, his hand moves further each time he goes around the circle heâs creating. I wonder if he is holding back.
Another sigh leaves me at the insane feeling that my dream couldnât even begin to relate to. âYeah, exactly that.âÂ
âWhat next?â His hand keeps moving, slowing down and speeding up, gripping my skin and pulling back to leave the tiniest amount of space between us. I can feel the heat increasing in his hands, or is that me?
âWe kissed.â My eyes dart from his hand to his face, watching his reaction to my words. I would be lying if I said the way his eyebrows raised then creased didnât turn me on even more. Something in the idea that my words alone could affect him sent my mind racing. How else could I affect him?
I hear him intake a large breath, soothing his own tension. âHow?â He wants to ruin me, I know it now.
âSmall and quick at first.â I remember the way we kissed like we were afraid of what it would mean, how this kiss would change our relationship and now I can feel it truly. This would change the way we interact around each other for the rest of our lives, this one night will change us forever. Something about that excites me.
âOkay.â He doesnât ask to know more but his head dips slightly in a gesture to continue talking as I feel his fingers grip my skin making a gasp leave my lips.
âThen we liked it, you smiled, I blushed, so we kissed again.âÂ
âHow?â He asks again, he wants every little detail, heâs so invested in what my mind created.Â
âLike we were starved.â I watch something flash behind his eyes, a small smirk forms on his face and the excitement in my veins burns dangerously. I want him so bad right now, I want to ruin our friendship.
âLike this?â In an instant his lips are on mine, kissing me slowly at first, letting my shock fade away before he dives in completely. He pushes into me more, making me lean back into the couch as he moves to lay over my body between my legs. Our bodies fit perfectly together, molding into shape like perfectly worked clay. His hand on my thigh squeezes, sending a shock through all of my nerves eliciting a gasp. And before I know it our tongues fight for dominance, neither wanting to lose this battle we have put off for so long. We were starved.Â
He pulls away, placing his forehead against mine to stare into my eyes, âchan.â My voice is nothing but a whisper of my desire, he awoke the demon in me that had been waiting patiently for this moment.
âWhat happened next?â His voice breaks through the silence that formed between us as we tried to regain control of ourselves, but he doesnât move.
âYou kissed down my neck.â I say confidently, feeling no embarrassment or anxiety anymore as now I know he wants this just as much as me.Â
He closes his eyes momentarily, inhaling deeply before asking, âhow did it feel?â
âGood, really good.â My words mix with another weak sigh and I realize how desperate I sound, but I couldnât be more indifferent to it. I no longer want to fight my need for him, he can ruin me however he wants now.
Chan moves back slightly to place his lips against my cheek in a soft ghost of a kiss following it with a trail of them down to my jaw. The kisses increase in pressure the further they go, eventually making a moan escape me when he reaches my throat. âHow does it feel?â
âBetter than the dream.â The desperation is evident now, especially when I feel his tongue touch my skin making it cold against the air only to warm it back up with his lips. The heat between our bodies causes sweat to form on my back, but I couldnât care less. I know we are going to take this all the way, and I couldnât be happier to get hot and heavy on my living room couch with my lifelong best friend.
âTell me more.â Now his voice is laced in desire, calling to my soul and my core. Iâm so turned on. He doesnât know what he does to me yet.
âMy hands roamed your body, up your chest over your shoulders.â His lips remain against the skin of my neck making gasps leave me when he nips at my skin and moans form at the back of my throat when he soothes the pain with intimate kisses.
This time he sighs, âdo it.â I place my shaking hands against his skin enjoying the way the tremors stop the second they make contact. Slowly I move them feeling his muscles tense beneath my touch telling me he is enjoying it as much as me. When my hand reach the back of his shoulders I decide to use my nails and drag them against the back of his shirt. A shaky sigh fans against my skin from him and both of us inhale deeply.
Instead of waiting for him to tell me to say more I carry on, âyour hands hovered up and down the outside of my thighs, you teased me.â Thereâs a slight irritation in my voice at the thought of being teased.
His head leans on my shoulder letting out a small chuckle at the irritation. âYeah?â He says in a teasing way as he moves the hand on my thigh to the outside to ghost his touch along the sides, up and down. I release a groan at the feeling.
âChan stop teasing me.â My nails dig in a little more to make him know Iâm not joking, I hate being teased. But something about him being the one that is teasing me makes it feel satisfying. He is the only person who can tease me, and now the only person I want to ruin me.
âKeep talking baby.â
âOh god.â My eyes roll at the pet name, nothing has ever sounded more perfect from him. Yet I know deep down I will hear plenty of perfect sounds from him tonight. âChan please fuck me.â
He groans and his hand grips my thigh tightly, I have him right where I want him. âFuck, y/n, youâre making this very hard.â
I chuckle at the double meaning as I can feel just how hard he is against my other thigh, âwhatâs hard?â The innocence in my voice makes him pull away and look directly in my eyes. I would do anything to have the way heâs looking at me ingrained in my brain for the rest of eternity.
âThatâs it.â Seconds later Iâm in his arms, legs wrapped around his waist and arms on his shoulders staring at him wide eyed.Â
âChan?â I ask looking at him as he walks towards my room, never breaking eye contact with me and gripping the back of my thighs tightly.Â
âIâm about to make sure you dream of only me for the rest of your life baby.â

Florist!Nagito x Reader â Like a flower craves for the light of the sun.
#. â an unfinished fanfic so far, more chapters tba in the future!
#. contents! â f!reader , slight komahina, slight chiakixreader, angst with a happy ending, alternate universe, no deaths or violence, depictions of BPD, smut, but, a LOT further into the fic, slowburn, nagito is a florist, reader is socially inept.
#. word count! â 3.8k .

" Are you sure you're fine with this? I mean, you've never lived alone like this in years, Nagito. " Hajimes gaze flickered over to his friend who was currently sat in the front seat of his car, his hands perched in his lap, his grip on the wheel tightened, before he went back to focusing on the road, he wasn't the best at expressing it, however he was worried for his friend.
" Oh, Hajime! No need to worry over little old me... I've been meaning to get out of your hair for weeks now! " Nagito smiled softly, looking over at the now-focusing Hajime, he studied his face for a second, he wasn't sure if he looked angry or not, his eyes didn't look all too happy, but, then again, it wasn't his place to comment on it.
Chiaki, who was sat in the back of the car, behind Nagito, looked up from her switch which she had been playing on, she was more of a listener in their conversations, but she spoke up, her voice was quiet, and unenthusiastic, but the two knew she was unable to do more, and it wasn't her fault. " You're pretty far from your shop though...How will you get there from.." She leant forward between their gaps in seats, trying to read where the location on the satnav said, but she couldn't make it out. She hadn't worn her contacts today, and her vision wasn't the greatest from all the screen staring she did, especially at later hours when even the sun wasn't out to help them " your new apartment?"
Nagito shook his head, letting out a short chuckle. " You guys are worrying far too much about me! Trust me, I've looked at many places, and this one was the best one. I'll catch the train over to the flower shop, simple as that. " Nagito tried to ease the tension which was building up in the small vehicle.
" I wish you'd told me before...you know! A week ago! " Hajime commented, passive aggressiveness seeping into his words as he stopped at a traffic light, now looking to make eye contact with Nagito now. " If you're not one hundred percent completely sure, we can turn the car around, You can keep staying at my place, it's really not a big deal to me." Hajime and Chiaki both knew he meant more than not a big deal, he meant to say he would want Nagito to stay, Chiaki sighed to herself, Hajime really had to get better at this kind of thing.
" I'm serious about going, I have to be independent at some point, I promise, I'll still visit on the holidays, so you won't die of loneliness! " He spoke in a joking manor, not sensing the serious tone in Hajime's voice.
Without even a beat passing, Hajime replied " You better. " he took a breath. " You know it-"
" Focus on the road Hajime. " Chiaki looked up at the green light in-front of him, and the three of them remained silent until the engine of the car stopped, just Chiaki's fingers hitting her controls and the dumb pop song quietly playing on the radio.
They arrived outside of the block of the apartments, and they looked up at them, Nagito had a suitcase in hand with all the essentials he knew that he would need to live, the other two were empty handed as Chiaki left her console in the back of the car, hidden under a blanket, just in-case.
"...It's big. " Hajime commented
" Its big. " Nagito confirmed, repeating his words. He couldn't deny he was a little afraid of being all on his own, but another part of him was glad that he'd finally taken a step out into the rest of his life after so long, this felt like a new chapter, or at least a new paragraph, he didn't read all too much, not enough to link that metaphor to his situation. He took a deep breath. " I guess that means I'll have plenty of nice neighbours to look after me then, huh? No need to worry guys!" He hummed.
" I mean...I wasn't *that* worried..." Chiaki mumbled, she thought Nagito was a nice friend but she knew she could just text him whenever, plus, she didn't live with him, or see him constantly, so she wasn't exactly in distraught, she was more there as an emotional support for Hajime.
" Don't go depending on everybody else there, they might kick you out. " Hajime tried his best to joke, he...deep down knew he wouldn't complain if that were to happened, as horrible as that sounded. " Remember, I'm always just a call away, So is Chiaki. " The girl flashed a thumbs up as he brought her into it, probably just so that he didn't seem to desperate.
" Well! The building isn't going anywhere, no matter how much we look at it, so, I should probably go in now, thank you for-"
" We can walk you to your room! Just to make sure you don't get lost. " Hajime cut him off.
" That's so kind of you, As long as I wouldn't be inconveniencing you, then..." Hajime would've told him he was never an inconvenience, however, he knew that Nagito just wouldn't believe him, he tried his best to convince Nagito over the years, but, his words just weren't enough for him.
Chiaki reached her hand into the pocket of Hajime's jacket and pulled out his car keys, Hajime tensed up slightly, he hadn't expected to feel Chiaki so close to him, so when he did, it was just a little bit of a shock. " You can feel free....I'd rather wait in the car..." Chiaki unlocked it, and walked towards it with short steps.
" Bye Nagito, I'll remember to text. " She put up her hand and waved for a second, before ducking into the car, Nagito smiled and waved back, he hadn't the time to respond before the girl had already hidden inside of the car, she just wasn't good with goodbyes, although, Hajime was on the other side of the spectrum of not being good with goodbyes.
" Are you sure she actually even wanted to come? " Nagito laughed, turning back to Hajime.
" Of course she did! You're her friend as much as mine!" Hajime frowned a little at him, he knew how much Chiaki cared, even if it was a little less than him.
" alright, alright! " He took a step towards the main entrance of the apartments, looking back as the wheels of his suitcase clacked against the floor, taking Hajime out of his thoughts. " Let's get going, yeah? " he said, as Hajime walked forward uncertainly, this was really it. He wasn't dying or anything, but, it still felt like a bit of him was about to become a lot more unreachable than before, it was just a big change which he most certainly hadn't prepared for, he just kind of assumed Nagito wasn't going to move out at all, maybe he was more naĂŻve than he had thought.
Nagito walked into the apartments, he had received the key two days ago, he would be on the fifth floor, in room 505, he dug his hand into his trousers, where the key was, and he played with it as he walked, making a jingling sound. Since he didn't plan on walking up all of those stairs with his suitcase, he decided he'd take the elevator. He'd just hope it wasn't broken.
He pressed the button on the side of it, and waited for it to come down to the ground floor, where he and Hajime stood in an awkward silence. He'd thought that Hajime was acting a little odd, but, he wasn't sure if commenting on such a thing would be in his place.
There was a DING! as the elevator doors opened, Nagito and Hajime were about to walk in, however, somebody walked out, they were very fast paces, as if they really had somewhere to be, They awkwardly squeezed between the two men, and made their way out, Nagito looked at them for a split second before turning, and stepping into the elevator, with Hajime at his side. He pressed the little "5" icon on the panel inside, and the elevator begun to move.
"....If you ever get bored of this place, my doors always open. " Hajime lowered his voice, he didn't want to seem like he was pressuring him.
" I appreciate it, you can visit whenever you'd like as well, although, my couch may not be as comfy. " Nagito replied, in almost the same tone, with a smile.
The elevator doors opened, and Nagito stepped out first, Hajime was slightly behind him, despite knowing he would be the fifth door along, Nagito still read every number on the front of the doors as he passed by them, or, maybe it was just he felt like he needed something to look at, so that his nerves didn't eat him alive. Hajime had gone back to being quiet as they both walked towards room 505.
Before he could even count the seconds, they were both stood in-front of it, Hajime wanted ever so badly to convince Nagito to just stay with him, but, he knew that Nagito had made up his mind, and there was nothing he could do in this situation which would change that, and he hated it.
Nagito put the key into the door, unlocking it, before turning to Hajime for a final time. " Thank you for walking me here, and, Thanks for letting me stay with you for so long, Now I wont be there to bother you anymore, so don't worry! " He smiled, like he was happy, like he felt relieved that he thought he was freeing Hajime of a weight, but Hajime felt the opposite.
" Whatever you say. I'll miss you. I can come and help you unpack if you'd like..?" He offered him, he must have sounded a little pathetic, but that was the least of his current problems.
Nagito shook his head. " Chiakis waiting for you, I don't want to be holding you up, besides, I'll be okay, please, don't fret over me. " Nagito asked, like it was a request, but Hajime knew he couldn't just free himself of the worry which he was feeling.
" Alright...um, goodbye, Nagito. " Hajime said, swallowing the lump forming in his throat, he was not about to cry right now. He stepped forward, and wrapped his arms around Nagito, caging his arms in, so Nagito couldn't even return the hug to him, he just wanted to hold him before he left.
After far too long of a hug time, Hajime let go, and after a few more pleasantries, he started to walk back to the elevator. He looked back over his shoulder, and Nagito was just closing the door after stepping inside.
He was right, he really ought to get back to the car, and go back home.
Nagito looked around his brand new apartment. It was pretty nice, he thought. The living room and kitchen were combined together, but the overall space for them was pretty big, there was a table in the back third, and a sofa in the more forward third, with a TV facing it, in the middle, there was a door to the bathroom, where there was shower attached over a bath tub, and a door to a bedroom, which had one bed, a set of drawers, and a wardrobe. The kitchen had two main countertops, an oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, and also a washing machine, even thought that wasn't a kitchen appliance, it still fit in there.
Nagito put his suitcase down, and went to sit on the couch, he sank down a little bit on it, but, he couldn't have expected the best furnishings in the world, he was just happy with what he got. He had drawn in a long breath, and looked around the room, it wasn't spacious, yet, it didn't feel homely. It just felt like a room. He knew over time that would change, as he got used to it, as he made his own special touches to it, but, it made him feel rather strange. He had wanted to be on his own, to feel like he was the one finally in control of his own life, to not be constantly calling for somebody whenever something went wrong .... he wanted that chance, to not be worthless, just for once in his life. Yet, all he found now, was that he was missing the homeliness of Hajime's house, the warmth, the smell of cinnamon, the way the house hugged him whenever he walked into it. He had taken all of that for granted, god he was just awful wasn't he?
He tied his hair up into a ponytail, before standing up, and clapping his hands together lightly. He needed to start unpacking, then maybe he would feel better, or at least he would be too preoccupied to be busy being a stain.
He dropped to the floor, unzipping his suitcase, and he started to take out his belongings. This wouldn't take that long, as he didn't have much stuff, for Nagito, it didn't take much for him to live, he was a very simple guy. First, he went to the bedroom, as that's where most of his stuff would be going. He first focused on hanging hid clothes up in his wardrobe, as that would take a bit of time, he had quite a few variants of flower shirts, which were a little ugly, but, Nagito saw the charm in them, Ugly didn't mean bad, it just meant unconventional. Nothing was really ugly, Nagito thought. Nagito slept shirtless, but he put his pyjama pants underneath his pillowcase, so he could put them on later. Then he set a hairbrush, some perfume, and an alarm clock on the desk next to his bed, that, and a little plush cat which Chiaki had gifted him when Hajime wasn't looking, just before she'd left. He made sure to set his alarm to 6:30AM, so he'd have enough time to wake up, get ready, eat, and then head out for work with enough time for him to a little lenient if anything were ever to come up.
Inside of the drawers, he put in his socks, his boxers, and any other miscellaneous clothing items which didn't fit inside of his wardrobe, and before he knew it, he was finished with a whole room! Next he went to the kitchen area ... he didn't have much to put there, besides some detergent, and some soap, as well as oven-gloves, a few pans, and two trays, three plates, as he didn't think he'd make anymore friends than the two he already had, and some cutlery. He hadn't brought any food with him, however, he planned to go out and buy some food after he was finished with setting up his apartment. What he did bring, was a vase! He was going to think overnight on what flowers he should bring for this new living space. Hajime had a pollen allergy, so he wasn't able to have any flowers there, so he was overjoyed that now he could display some wherever he pleased. He placed it in the centre of the table.
Next, he went to the bathroom, where he put down some more soap, his hair and body washes, his towels, his toothbrush and toothpaste, and a bottle of bleach, as well as some more perfume.
His suitcase was practically empty at that point, and around an hour had passed, Nagito wasn't the type of person who would rush around if he really didn't need to. He stretched his arms up above his head, before dropping them back down. He was aware he had barely gotten inside, but, he was feeling rather peckish now, He was restless, so, he decided that now he would go out and shop for food to stock up his cupboards, then get adjusted to his new living area later on! Truth be told, now that he had already unpacked, he was a little bored. He just didn't have anything to do there, it was just a new home, the overall excitement dies off pretty quickly.
Nagito grabbed a few shopping bags, and made sure he looked good enough to be seen by members of the public, before taking his first step out of his new apartment. He walked back down the hallway, and to the elevator, looking at it, and sighing, of course this had happened.
In the slim time that he was able to get into his room, and sort things out, the elevator had miraculously broken, which meant, from now on, he would have to take the stairs.
The day had been going pretty well for you, up until your assistant, Peko, had called you to tell you that you didn't have enough material for the dresses which would need to be finished in two days, you'd thought you were just about done with them, just needed to do the finishing touches, but no, life can never be that simple for you, can it? You have this motto, totally never heard before, that anything that can go wrong, will go wrong, not just in the fashion world, but just in general in your life, you always seemed to have the worst luck imaginable in every given circumstance, you tried your best to stay positive about it, but god, sometimes it was difficult.
Luckily, in the area which you lived, there was a shop where all of the materials you needed were sold, unless they were hyper-expensive, then you'd have to order them online, as you don't live in a bourgeoisie area, hell, you'd hate it if you did.
You weren't some world famous fashion designer, you just made clothes, and the clothes sold, you didn't have some massively big name, but you made enough money to keep on pursuing your passion, even if you weren't rich enough to quit and move away to some honeypot site. Like you'd want to do that anyway, even if you weren't the best, you generally enjoyed creating fashion, and getting your own art there, it filled you with a joy you hadn't found in many things, if it was your calling, that one thing for you, you weren't completely certain of, as of yet, you didn't feel like you had a thing, just like, you were pretty good at it.
You were wearing a maxi skirt and a blouse out to go to the shops, you were just about to get into your lounging clothes until the call, but now you were walking down the street, walking quickly, but making sure you didn't bump into anybody. You didn't know many of the locals well, but it were better to not start off on the wrong foot, if you had to start off on any. You were quite a shut-in, you just stayed in and created, other than that, you didn't really have a reason to leave, unless you had to meet with somebody, which didn't happen all that much.
You were in and out of the shop in a matter of minutes, you knew where everything in there was, so you could just grab your materials, pay for them, and get out, you didn't like to be in stores for too long, this was mainly because they made you feel awfully claustrophobic, and you really weren't a fan of that, even on less busy days, it made you feel slightly iffy.
Upon exiting, you looked up, and saw that the stars were out, greeting you, it was already pretty late, you would most likely have to pull an all nighter, after realising this, you sighed. Fashion could be cruel sometimes, more often than not.
If you had more time, you would've happily cast your gaze up into the beauty of the moon for a bit longer, but unfortunately you were pulled away from her grasp.
You started to walk away from the shop, back to where you lived, meandering through the people who passed you by, whenever you did happen to pass one, you always got caught up, wondering what in their own life led up to this very moment, it made you grateful for being able to live, weirdly enough.
You got caught up in the idea of getting caught up, because when sewing, you never had the time to think, as you had to focus fully on the task at hand, so when you were outside, you were more prone to getting pulled into the world of your marvellous brain. Or, that's what your mother called it, you'd definitely not say that.
In-fact, you were so caught up, you hadn't even realised that you'd walked straight into somebody. You cursed to yourself, god, you were so unlucky, of course this would have to happen to you. You looked down at the floor for a second, a tad embarrassed, before looking up to see who you'd collided with, you had already stepped back away from them upon the sudden contact, but you couldn't help but gasp as you saw who you'd bumped into.
You could've sworn you had just accidentally ran into an angel, you had never seen a boy so pretty. You couldn't take your eyes from him as you tried to cough out an apology, despite the situation, you had already been horrible and talking to people to begin with, which was part of the reason why you loved your current job.
He had the prettiest white hair, his skin pale to match, and he just looked absolutely perfect, like he were a wax model, and not a real human being. A surge of inspiration was running through your bloodstream, a muse.
You had only just seen him, but you were certain, you had never seen anybody like him in your life, not even in any cartoons, or animated shows. You weren't sure if maybe this was some cruel dream, if he wasn't actually a real person or not, but you didn't have the time to be worrying over such a trivial matter.
Your eyes met his green ones, he looked surprised, you were staring at him rather intently without even realising, god, you must've looked so stupid.
" I'm so sorry, I should've been looking where I was going.." You finally managed to squeak out, you had to keep your cool. " I really need to get going, though, if I ever see you again um...- I'll pay you back! I promise!"
You hadn't given the taller man the chance to reply as you skirted around him, quickly walking off. You wished you had managed to hold s longer conversation with whoever that was, but your work really was a more pressing issue, and anyway, you doubted you'd ever actually see him again.

MCFLY JULY â24 âžș ă 5 / 31 * DON'T NEED MONEY, DON'T TAKE FAME ă
âClara?â
âHm?â
He swallows, struck by a sudden bout of self-consciousness that heâd never known before, certainly not to such an extent. It ties his tongue in knots and makes a lead weight of his stomach and Emmett kicks himself for such a childish reaction when even in his youth, heâd never been so uncertain.
But never before had he fallen so completely and utterly in love with somebody that he can almost find sense in those silly romance novelsâthe lightning strike when their eyes met, the speechlessness, the feeling of being struck by a speeding vehicleâŠ
He would have dismissed all that as romantic nonsense, once. Now, despite its entirely unscientific basis, Emmett canât deny it when he feels it firsthand, struck dumb every time he so much glances at her.
This is love and he canâtâno, he doesnât want to spend another day without her.
âWill you marry me?â
âOf course I willâyes.â
âIâwait, what?â
âIâll marry you, Emmett.â
Of all the things heâd been expecting, heâd not expected her to answer without even a momentâs hesitation or the slightest hint of uncertainty to her voice. His heart leaps then very nearly stops and Emmett doesnât dare wonder if this is all a dream, if he'll wake up at the slightest provocation alone in his bed.
âI donât mean this lightly, Claraââ
ââAnd neither do I. Iâm absolutely serious.â
âYou know Iâm nothing like Edward Allgood, I wonât be able toââ
âAnd I should say thatâs a good thing!â Emmett blinks, stunned into uncharacteristic silence. âEdward is a fine manâhe has everything any woman could want: impeccable social standing, a well-respected job, a sizeable estate. Any woman would be lucky to be his wife.â
Emmett quirks a brow, trying and failing to follow her potential train of thought. As far as eligible bachelors went, there were far more suitable candidates and sometimes he canât help but wonder if heâs dreaming when Clara looks at him too long with those deep brown eyes of her. Each and every time, fear kept him from pinching himself to find out the truth. âExactly. Iâm twice your age, Clara, I donât have a home to give you that you deserve, Iâm only a blacksmith earning a modest living with a questionable reputation around town, soââ
âSo, Emmett,â Clara cuts in emphatically, refusing to hear even one more word on the matter, âthatâs precisely the point,â When itâs clear that he is still lost as to her reasoning, as evidenced by the puzzled look that has his brows scrunched together and his head cocked to the side like a confused puppy, Clara continues, but not without a smile.
âIâm sure for many young women, that kind of life is a dream. And I donât see anything wrong with any of those things youâve just said. As far as Iâm concerned, those are all positives. However, the idea of living the ordinary life of a simple housewife is absolutely maddening. I think I would lose my mind from boredom to be nothing but a pretty wife to an equally handsome young man with a predictable lifestyle.
âIf money or a reputable name or a comfortable, easy life was all I was after, I would have been married long ago and probably still be living in New Jersey. I wouldnât have taken the job across the country to be teaching in this small town in California, thousands of miles from everything Iâve ever known.â She pauses only a moment to let the implications sink in.
âBut men like Edward Allgood and his sort have no interest in Jules Verne or the sciences, they find little joy in the wonders of life that have nothing to do with preserving their public image or adding to their fortune, we would have so very little in common, and, frankly, theyâre not you, Emmett. I think I knew it from the moment we met that you would be the one for me and before you convince yourself of some ridiculous notion that Iâm only saying this because you saved my life that day, Iâm telling you to put that out of your head right now, because that couldnât be farther from the truth.â
Emmett smiles, his face saying it all. That had been an irrational concern in the back of his mind, one that had eased up over the months of Claraâs affections never wavering the more sheâd gotten to know him yet never truly faded, tormenting him on the occasional late nights when he couldnât sleep, plagued by dreams of the space-time continuum unravelling due to his continued paradoxical presence in the past.
âI had worried about that, butââ
âBut nothing. I love you, Emmett, and whatever that means, wherever we end up, I want to be with you.â
#I HAVE A LOT OF THOUGHTS ABOUT DOC & CLARA IN THE NINETEENTH CENTURY OKAY#and both of them are very - i don't care about money or fame or social standing#i want to live and be loved and find happiness wherever it is#and that's my take for don't need money don't take fame#doc loves her so very much - with everything he has - and he's lowkey terrified about not being able to give her a life she deserves#and make her happy and clara's like - emmett i'm already happy and that's not going to suddenly change if we get married#if anything it means people will stop looking at them and whispering behind their backs about how they're acting the way they do#and AREN'T married yet.#mcflyjuly#mcfly july 2024

CJL LIVE BLOG SEASON 1 [EPISODE 1]
So. I know, this is wrong. Coz I put the IPK one on hold and now i am starting another, but I thought, this one is just for 82 epis(SO SHORT? WTF? CHALA HI NAHI SHOW?!?!?) So, it wont take much time to complete this and I also wanted to keep this content and ipk content separate. Hence, a separate blog. I know y'all might be hard-core Arshi fans and ipk fans, but, give this one, a chance, as well, ok? Just for entertainment's sake? Please? Baaki, it's your choice ofc :) Hope you enjoy this.
1.) Hmm. Pune. Maharashtra. A girl peeping out through the car window. Enjoying the 'jaadu' in the air. Btw, I like the BG score, here.
2.) In the flashback, we see two kids sitting on a white horse and the horse is galloping in its full galore. The girl confirms the magic in the air as her hands are flying. Lol. Typical kids.
3.) Tara di's sister is asking about her opinion on her looks. IDK but I cringed real hard when she said, "Achi lag rahi hun naa?"(Like yeah darling, you look average. Lol. JK. You look stunning but stop with that cringe acting, ok?)
4.) Tara Di opens her hair and A SECOND-LITERALLY A SECOND AGO, she was irritated but then immediately she is impressed with her di's improvisation. Whatever. Lol.
5.) Selfies. Di is excited so she starts taking selfies and her younger sister is suspicious instantly. Why? Does she not take selfies on any normal day? Maybe. *shrugs*
6.) How typical of people to instantly assume that if a girl seems excited then she might be having a 'chakkar' with some boy. Why girl? Your sister can't be happy for her own self, just like that, without any reason? *hmph* Do you make her that upset? Lol. That now her excitement seems abnormal.
7.) NGL but this Tara di's sister is a really bad actor, whoever she is. Sorry. Lol.
8.) Tara Di gets off the car and lets them drive by. Then, she quickly runs to the Bus Station to catch a bus for--?--whatever.
A Side Gyaan : But that's such a bad way to catch a bus, actually. First, you catch the attention of the bus driver coz they are at a considerable height and then they stop the vehicle ONLY THEN you cross it and get on the bus, okay? My readers? Don't be like Tara Didi, okay? Good. Now, we come back to the epi.
9.) So. Tara didi is changing her shoes. I really thought for a sec that she will change her outfit too. Lol. A kid is staring at her antiques and she notices people are staring at her. So.
What do you think will she do?
a) ignore them
b) make faces at them
c) sunaoify (rudely) them for staring at a slightly differently dressed girl
d) give them a five page ka gyaan on social etiquettes as a soon-to-be 'Starplus Bahu'
Yeah. You are neither right nor wrong, coz she will randomly pull out a jar of lollipops and distribute it to appease them. Yes. We all do that. We all step out of our homes, thinking we might happen to be in a bus and can then distribute it among the children on the said bus. Whatever.
10.) TD gets off the bus and buys chana and gur for--?--*shrugs*
11.) TD is now sitting in a-tempo?-transport vehicle. Whatever. Driver announces her destination which is- "Sehgal Estate"
12.) The driver assuming her to be a tourist, warns her, of the place having been shut down for quite a few years now and he tells her that an accident had taken place, many years ago. TD flashes back to that 'haadsa' and politely dismisses him by stating that she is a local.
13.) Ok, ladies, so all things aside, who all can climb up and cross that gate, that high, with a WHITE SAREE and that too without staining it!?!? Anyone? No? See, our Tara D (Lol. I have so many name ideas for this girl.) CAN. She is a champion at this. (Okay so i wanted to take a screenshot of that long-ass gate but Jio Cinema didn't let me. Fudge you, Ambanis'. Whatever. Lol.)
14.) She takes help from Deva's flash back advice when he had first guided her to climb that (same?) gate. Okay, so that saxophone BG score is cute, okay? Lol.
15.) Gosh. How did they manage to find a small girl who looks exactly like Kanika Mann? Wow. Casting directors take a bow. *bows down with joined hands*
16.) Okay, so the titular song has started in the BG and I am loving it. Meanwhile, TD is going about the mansion and recalling that 'haadsa'.
17.) I am actually kinda liking this kid, Deva. How sweet of him. He extends a bunch of yellow flowers (symbolizing friendship). And damn, he has one hell of a head full of soft and flowy tresses. Wow. Any hair care tips for us, girls, Deva? Lol. Whatever.
18.) She digs out the 'nishaani' of their friendship which is basically two thick stones(or rocks?) joining like a puzzle piece and 'Badshah' along with caricatures of Deva and Tara, carved on the two pieces.
19.) She becomes very emotional, holding the symbol of a once very beautiful bond she had with some boy named- Deva. And then out of the blue we hear a horse neighing and Tara instantly brightens as she recognizes Badshah.
20.) Sure enough, we see Badshah running towards Tara and Tara on reaching close to it, touches it affectionately on it's jaws. We see that Badshah is indeed angry and disappointed on Tara. He starts running away as Tara tries to pacify it(him?). Oh. So. The chana and gur was for a horse. Ok. Nice.
Fun-Fact : All things set aside, Kanika genuinely had to interact with a horse in the middle of the shoot. I wonder if there's some story to this episode which she might have, like she was hell scared of horses and yet had to learn how to interact even if it's a well trained horse, we are talking about. Okay. Enough. Now back to the epi.
21.) Basant Kaka has come to see Tara Bitiya. What's with that line?-"Main janta tha ki aaj ka din tu bhulegi naayi, zarur aayegi." Kya hai aaj ke din mein aisa? Tara's demeanor changes as she recalls the incidents that took place in today's date.
22.) She tells BK that today is the day she met HIM (Deva?) and she reveals that he was the only one who made her Tara from 'Phus Tara' (Deflated Star or according to Jio Cinema's caption-'Timid Tara'. Basically an insulting nick name.)
(Lol. See. I got another name. But. Sorry i won't use that coz it triggers her childhood trauma.)
22.) Do I see vengeance there, Tara? Okay. So, we are being taken 15 years back.
23.) Wow. What an a__hole of a brother. He is chasing Tara all over the house with a bunch of crackers (chataai?) Tara is hidden inside the cupboard but she wants to come out because she is scared of darkness and it's all dark inside the cupboard. Ronak bhaiya fools her to come out but lays the chataai bomb and lights it with a matchstick giving her a 'Sehgal Promise'. These Sehgals seem to be too stuck up of a family tho.
Not-So-Fun Fact : God, these are the worst kind of crackers not only coz of the sound but also they keep scattering everywhere, while bursting, once lit. Even I am hell scared of these and always stand at least 1 Km away from these. Lol.
24.) Not knowing better (how would she? she is just a kid of 7-8 something.) Tara trusts her wicked brother, who has already run away to the veneration, steps out of the cupboard but it's too late the crackers keep scattering everywhere and bursting in the meantime and the poor kid is hell scared she starts calling out for her father ("Baba").
25.) Baba is doing aarti of Devi Maiyya (Oh. Hello DM. How are you? How are Khushi-Arnav and their munchkins doing? Lol. Sorry. I get carried away a bit.)
26.) WAIT. WHAT!?!!?!?! Is that the same guy, who was in Sheesh Mahal, on the fashion show night and Khushi came, asked him for directions but instead got to listen to an Urdu Shayari? Wow. See. A crossover we didn't deserve but got anyway. Whatever.
27.) Baba was doing aarti when his hell scared daughter comes and merely touches his back and the veneration plate skips away from his hand. Lol. What kind of a diet Baba takes that he couldn't even handle a gentle push from a mere kid of 7? Whatever.
But the thing that surprises me more is that he is about to lash out at her in front of the whole-family?- bunch of people. This is where I thought that there's some major tiff going on, in the family, like, everyone is against a mere kid.
28.) Baba, your daughter was hell scared, that too, coz of your a__hole of a son. A lil bit of compassion would go a long way. Thank you.
29.) Wow. A__hole father, a__hole brother. Tara. Run. I said. RUN. Whatever. Poor kid. Is getting blamed for the thing that she couldn't have any control of. So. Baba's wife died at childbirth. So. Now. He has got a lifetime license of blaming and punishing his daughter for it. WoW. jUsT. wOw.
30.) Some one please call a gynecologist and enlighten him that it hardly has anything to do with the child but has everything to do with proper timely medical care. Whatever.
31.) OH. She is crying in front her mother's portrait. Asking if she would ever be loved by anyone or not. I so desperately want to go and give her a looooooong jaadu ki jhappi. Uff. I am getting goosebumps now.
32.) She hears a melody being played out from a harmonica and is instantly drawn to its source. She sees, a boy riding a horse named Badshah and carrying balloons on it's saddle. She is kind of intrigued by this boy.
33.) The boy introduces himself as Deva and in the process, mocks Ronak. Ronak is kind of irritated of this boy already and tries to take over the horse and orders BK to light a long-ass chataai (do they have nothing else in the name of crackers? Lol. 'sEhGaLs') But, Deva is frantic and warns not to burst crackers as it will make Badshah go crazy and mocks him again and Ronak pushes him and Deva falls down.
34.) BK, following his master's orders, lights the chataai and Badshah goes crazy, starts running around violently. There is chaos everywhere, somewhere in the midst, Baba also shouts. The horse Badshah is now running towards Tara and Tara is frightened to the core. She freezes at her spot and covers her face ready to face the impact. Deva pulls off a high jump stunt and lands on the horse's back and calms him down in the process.
35.) Deva tries to cheer Tara up and is successful and from there on they both spend time together and thus become hard core friends.
36.) Deva lightens up her world. She smiles more, laughs more, conquers her fears a lil bit more, every time she is with Deva. And one fine day, they both are celebrating Deva's birthday and Tara has brought a cake for him. A candle is perched on its top. Deva lights it up and blows it away to make a wish. But the candle keeps lighting up again and again automatically, this surprises Deva and Tara falls into a pit of laughter and we see grown up Tara laughing in front of BK recalling the incident. This show is really moving something inside me. It's so heart warming tbh.
37.) Ok. So now they are celebrating BK's b'day and she has a cake-cum-aate-ka-halwa. BK lights up a matchstick and the small speck of fire again ignites that trauma in Tara. Poor girl is traumatized on loosing her only best friend.
38.) Tara and BK think that Deva is dead. And, Badshah has been bought by someone in exchange of lakhon rupiye. Altho, Bhojariya ji had a deal with Tara that she would pay him to keep Badshah in the Sehgal Estate but upon getting a greater amount of money, naturally, Bhojariya Ji sells it.
39.) Tara is heart-broken that she could not keep his only belonging safe and so apologizes to Deva (who she thinks is in heaven) and we are instantly taken to a hilltop where we see a man, also in white. So. Deva. He is alive and probably a reech buzinez man, i think? And, now, the plot is quite predictable, Tara will try to take back Badshah from that 'man' and he will in turn not reveal that he is indeed Deva becoz there is some misunderstanding on both of their side. So. He will try to seek revenge from Tara for what he had to go through in the past. As it is clear from the line, "Bohot jal chuka suraj, ab chaand ko jalna hoga." Wow. What a beautiful parallel tho. (Suraj-Deva and Chaand-Tara and also the title of the story makes a lot more sense now.)
40.) Ok. So. Jalebi reminded me that I did not mention Deva's entry scene. So. Yeah. Deva's entry scene, huh? Wow. Yeah. Sirf. Wow. I had literal goosebumps already and then that drone shot from the hilltop. The teapot hanging above the fire. Lol. What a traditional way to make chai amidst nowhere. Btw where did he get chai ki patti from? And what about chini? Cup? Lol. Banda puri taiyyari ke saath aaya tha. So. Yeah. Amazing scene. Handsome Deva. Beautiful white suit. Already swooning.
Not-so-Fun Fact : Damn this reminds me that I have been chai-deprived since yesterday coz chai was finished and no one in our house(as in me and my parents) were bothered enough to bring it from the general store altho we all were very much bothered for not being able to have a cup of chai. uGh. Whatever.
41.) Wow. Wow. Wow. This show has already started to cast its spell on me, to be honest. And it's just the first episode.
P.S. : So. Yeah. Very beautiful. Very very very beautiful indeed. Cinematography wise. Script wise. Costume wise. Look wise. Everything is perfect for Chaand Jalne Laga. TBH I was underestimating this show but it indeed is beautiful. Please do give it watch. Ok. Then. Bye. God bless you.

Thereâs no way you can get tired of a vehicle as majestic as the Dodge Monaco. When youâre like me, and youâve spent your entire working life scrambling around in a harem of bastard F-body heaps, the B-body Monaco is practically a luxury car. Look at this: itâs got a rear seat that you can put adult humans in! And the cigarette lighter isnât just a little sticker reading âbring your own.â Yes indeed, I donât think cars can get any better than the 1977 Monnie.
Sure, the engine is still as smog-obsessed and down on power as anything else from its era. Folks were eating out of garbage cans and roaming the streets looking for spilled gasoline to suck into their land barges, just so they could get to their jobs, where they were summarily laid off because the CEO spent this weekâs cocaine money on 87 octane for his Rolls. It was a dark time. The sixties were a long time ago, and folks wanted fuel efficiency without doing terrifying Japanese things like âmaybe make the engine less shit.â A smaller engine uses less fuel! A lower-compression engine will use worse fuel!Â
In fact, Iâm so impressed with this Monaco, that I tell the owner I am willing to make a very generous offer. One thousand dollars, by far the most I have spent on any car. His lips curl back in revulsion, and he attempts to push me out of the car. This attempt fails: by 1977, the eggheads at Mopar Central had figured out how to make doors that latch! Once his sense of calmness and level-headedness return, he tells me that he was thinking more like forty-five thousand dollars, which I think is about as much as it costs to put on a moon mission. I let myself out at 85 km/h after turning the steering wheel hard right just to make my own displeasure noted.
Once I have rolled to a complete stop in the ditch, I walk a couple feet to find one of my many hoarded Volares, cleverly scattered across the tri-state area so that I donât have to walk very far once any of my other Volares break down. This particular one is a handsome 1976 model â an early one! â whose only flaw is a serious amount of whisky dings and a missing headlight, maybe caused by the rock which it is currently crashed into. Back to the working-class car for me, I tell myself. I reach into my pocket, and pull out my janitor-sized keyring. You donât actually need that many keys to own this many Volares: Plymouth, never all that detail-oriented when they were sober, got especially sloppy when they were making the door locks, so at least half of these keys will open any single one of them. Just another example of how they really understood people like me. For us working stiffs, we canât be spending all day rooting through our keys to figure out which one starts our cars.

right side of my neck
sirius black x gn!reader
summary: in which you and sirius part ways after your first date. butterflies and pink tinted cheeks as you say goodbye.
fluff, cutie patooties
âąÂ°. *àżâąÂ°. *àż
laughter fills the air, fingers intertwined as you and sirius walk across the sidewalk toward the bus stop. the moon and stars look down upon your figures as you share toothy grins and glistening eyes.
"-and then right when he had ran out the dorm in his towel ready to chase us, minnie had just made her way right around the corner. poor jamesie ran away so fast that he lost his grip on his towel."
sirius had just finished an hilariously embarrassing story of james, which had caused you to erupt in giggles. you looked at the ground holding your stomach with the hand in which wasn't taken by sirius'. he looked at your smiling face, your cheeks splattered with pink. as you look up at him, he looks into your eyes (and is completely sure that there are stars trapped inside them).
he doesn't realize that he is staring until you give a "is there something on my face" which he in turn retorts with a "yes, your unending beauty." this causes a snort and smile to be let out by you, which causes him to smile at the fact that he is able see your face light up because of him.
the whole date with you had felt like a dream to him. never had he imagined to have the privilege to hold hands with you. to laugh and smile with you. to be with you. it had filled him with so much happiness, overflowing with the love he felt. he's left in a daze until you break his thoughts.
"ive always wondered, who cuts your hair?" he feels the hand that was held with yours become cold, and then your touch at the soft ends of his curls.
"mrs potter is usually the one who pesters me the most to cut it, so i just become a barber in the bathroom." sirius cautiously runs a hand through his hair. despite it being one of the things he's confident about, self-consciousness creeps up when being with you. noticing, you smile at him and reach for his hand, fingers interlocked.
"i think you make a fine hairdresser." he lets out a small chuckle followed with a "thanks" as you both continue walking with joined hands.
it is quiet, comfortable silence as the faint sight of the bus stop comes into view. your hands sway slightly between you two, sirius' thumb rubbing against yours, causing butterflies to fly around your stomach.
the stars and moon witness the love that surrounds your figures. they see the shy glances, the flushed cheeks, the closeness, and slowed footsteps to try to decelerate the moment you have to depart. but before you know it, you're both met with the illuminated bus stop, with its empty metal seats and plastered advertisements.
as the bus approaches, you and sirius share a knowing look that your time together must come to a close. you give your hands a squeeze, a silent message saying, "thank you for the time we've spent." and as sirius silently squeezes back, sending a "any time with you is worthy of mine," the bus halts in front of you.
before the doors open, you feel arms wrap around you, where you return the embrace with no hesitation. you smell the cologne that clings onto sirius' figure, wanting to remember his scent before you say goodbye.
the metal clacking of the motor vehicle fills your ears, signaling that you must release yourself. feeling your arms loosen in your hold, sirius gives you once last squeeze before letting go, feeling his body become colder without your warmth. you take one step onto the bus and glance at sirius before saying:
"this was fun. let's do it again. okay?"
he lights up and smiles.
"of course, i never intended for this to be a one time thing."
you smile back at his response, completely entering the bus, the doors closing. sirius sees you take a seat and look out the window back at him. you exchange waves and small grins before the bus begins to leave.
as you drive farther away, you see sirius walking in the opposite direction of the bus. you glance over your right shoulder to take another glance at him, smelling the faint scent of his cologne linger on the right side your neck. as you turn back facing the front, you fail to notice sirius' glance looking back at you as he continues to walk away.
both of your cheeks left rose tinted, butterflies engulfed your stomachs as you and sirius reminisce your time spent together.

Damn for having so much personal advice and opinion to give, and being, yknow, theoretically, *confident dominant types* you all sure are shy and convinced on not letting me know who you are. I guess that's fine but also I'm not posting it and I would never really trust advice via an anon. Sorry. Teehee đ€
But tbh it really has been my experience that nearly all women are truly submissives. Including self professed "dommes". I think many are submissive women who find the idea of a submissive man being dommed by a woman sexy. Like to watch in porn or imagine.
But they don't actually want to be the woman doing the dominating. Its just a sexy idea. Actually being that role is deeply uncomfortable to them, they dont enjoy it, they arent wired for it, and it isnt their personality. They're submissives who happen to also find submissive men cute. Which is fine, but, is not a domme any more than finding a puppy at the park cute makes you an animal whisperer.
"Uh i wanna domme u but also im turbo nervous and shy and hate leading conversations and dont want to pick what we do in bed and it would be great if you could do all the things a functionally dominant person would do except i call you "good boy" while you do it." Mmmk. Im good thanks. "No but like even though youre like choosing everything and in total superior position by all metrics, the activity is giving me head so that makes it dominating you". Sure.
Having been a daddy dom of convenience for a long time before finally embracing that it just isnt what i enjoy most, i have hard carried sooooo so so so so many conversations over the years with submissive women who I knew wanted to talk with me but were just wholly incapable of even half guiding a conversation. They needed their partner to always being the one picking the topic. I ask a question, she just answers it. I find another topic, she passes back. Which was fine, i was the dominant and when i really was interested in someone I put in the work.
But the amount of *dominant* women I have had contacting me who feel *exactly* the same to talk to is astounding. Im sure youre all great people but i sooooo do not have the energy or drive or desire to simultaneously be in subby space and also the one clearly dominating this conversation and in total control. Thats the opposite of what I want in a domme.
I want to be responsive. Reactionary. The one being led by the dance. Putting effort into my steps, sure 100%, but not choosing their direction. Not dictating the tempo. Not selecting the music. The sensation that the person on the other end *actually halfway knows what they might want* and is going to communicate that without me having to prompt and pry it out of them and being left feeling like I'm clearly the boss. I swear. Im not a brat. Im not trying to be alpha. But somebody has to drive this vehicle or itll explode; and in a complete power vaccuum theres just nothing i can do to stop myself from expanding to fill it its just physics at that point. And im just not really into it rn.
Anyways rant over đ„°đ„°đ„°đ„°đ„°đ„° lalalalalalalaalalalalalala
New writing should be coming soon!!!! Ive just been busy with restarting some classes and another thing so I hope everyone enjoys <3 submissive women always welcome on my acc. Just dont try to domme me. Because i can tell. Immediately.
